Does anyone know anything about this supplement? A person on another site is reporting great success with it. I have copied part of their post here
“A friend of a friend recommended a vitamin for my dad to take for his Parkinson’s disease.
The vitamin is called calcium d glucarate.
You can buy it from Amazon.
I open the capsule and put about 1:6, in a small sip of water and mix it (it floats somewhat) so, I had my dad take a quick sip each time.
The brand is “integrative therapies” - the total mg is 180 mg for each capsule - but when only take 1/6th and he takes it every 2/3 hours with such great success.
I really hope this helps someone. please share your experiences on here to spread the word, please. ❤️❤️❤️
Please share your experiences.”

Hi there. It was on that site but was not his post. I did not feel that he was recommending this but was passing on comments that another person had made.
It is a glucose derivative, platelet enhancer with anticancer effects as well as a potent antioxidant found in fruits and vegetables as outlined in the following abstract :
Calcium D-glucarate helps the body safely remove excess hormones, supports detoxification, and may be protective against certain cancers. Calcium D-glucarate is a supplemental form of glucaric acid, an important naturally occurring chemical that helps remove toxins and unneeded hormones from the body.
Whether this helps would depend on your levels of beta glucuronidase, which is shown in some stool tests. Beta glucuronidase is an enzyme produced by bacteria in the colon and it inhibits glucuronidation, the phase 2 detoxification pathway in the liver that is responsible for biotransformation of oestrogen as well as many toxic substances and other hormones. When beta glucuronidase inhibits this pathway, toxins become unbound and recirculate in the body, causing damage. Where calcium d-glucarate comes in is it inhibits beta glucuronidase, which means that the detoxification pathway can operate normally.
