Magnesium, zinc and calcium
Nearly a year after ADT and all clear with testosterone recovering well. Been advised by a fellow runner to try a supplement of magnesium, zinc and calcium. The Onco has no objections. Are there reasons no too? Thank you.

I had a medical crisis, I didn't die, I wonder why
Last summer I had a medical emergency. The odds were it would kill me but I survived with few life threatening consequences. The problems I had are commonly fatal for 80 year old men. There is a message in my experience which I hope to share with you in this article. It is a bit longer than most

My only fresh embryo transfer from two rounds failed. I’m heartbroken. I don’t think I was given the right medical care. Unsupportive DH
My only embryo failed. The first round nothing grew past 4 cells - which I can accept was egg quality. Fast forward 5 months and we both made lots of changes in terms of supplements. The second round I believe the quality will have been much better for both of us. However - the clinic had

Vitamin D and AF
This is from Chat GPT, what do you think? fact checked on google and other sites. Vitamin D has been studied extensively for its potential impact on heart health, particularly its relationship with atrial fibrillation (AF). The findings are somewhat mixed, but several key points emerge from recent

At 3.30am after 12.5 hours in a A&E , lots of cardiograms, bloods, x-ray and a good physical

Two rounds. 7 eggs. ONE EARLY BLASTOCYST. failed fresh transfer. Should we DNA fragmentation test before moving to the next stage?
Hey Everyone! I wonder if it is a good idea to get a DNA fragmentation and oxidisation test done on husbands sperm. I don’t know the recent figures off hand but they were pretty bad - we were having ICSI. The embryologist seems to think the sperm looked ok….and blamed the eggs...but Im so not convinced

I heard that when you stop PROLIA. you need a Rebound med. BISPHOSPHONATE. I cant take that med. Is there

ppis or famatodine
ppis or famatodine reduce calcium absorption ,so with severe osteoporosis would it be better to take a calcium supplement.

GCA confirmed after Ear pain
Just to let you know that the result of my temporal artery biopsy has been confirmed as positive today. I had the biopsy on monday, just 3.5 weeks after initially going to the GP with earache. I am amazed actually as it was a result of knowledge on this forum that prompted me to go back to my GP, after

I need some help with this
I am having the most painful but weird cramping. It is only a night and it is getting worse, not better. Yesterday I had them and I did not have dialysis because we infiltrated the fistula, AGAIN. We thought it was the iron I was taking, but I stopped that last week. These cramps are not in my calves

Thoughts on Denosumab in my case
MO is suggesting Denosumab after my Dexa scan. Bone density normal in spine, osteopenia in right hip and osteoporosis on one part of left hip. I am wondering if with a -2.7 it is possible to control/improve with supplements and weight bearing exercises? What are you taking? Have added calcium. The

Pluvicto pain
my father has undergone 3 infusions of Pluvicto. He has psma and fdg completed with no significant discordance. I understand tumour flare tends to occur within the first week after infusion but he tends to have more discomfort towards the end of the cycle. We aren’t sure if it’s bone pain or muscle

So been on the calcium channel blocker 2 days
My symptoms have got better but is this placebo, I’m on extended release 120mg Diltiazem. Cool I feel ok but now it’s worrying me that the reason it’s making me feel ok is that I actually have a problem with my heart going on and that my arteries are blocked. This is just messed up. Could that be what
