Looking for recommendations of best self tests for cortisol levels. Also information on what other parameters I should be testing for adrenal function and hypothalamus, pituitary and parathyroid function.. Finally, any recommendations for how to raise a low adjusted calcium level?

Questions for Endocrinologist
Today is the day, I am finally seeing an endocrinologist. Any suggestions of things to ask? Trying to be optimistic about the appointment but quietly cautious. Below are the questions I have so far: - FT3 measurement to ensure adequate conversion - Pregnancy monitoring and appropriate FT4 and TSH levels

Cramps
I have PBC and am in 70s. Does anyone else have terrible muscle spasms, cramps in legs and hands? These seem to be worse at night or after relaxing on a sofa. I try to drink lots of water, take magnesium and calcium tablets but some nights it's waking me every hour. I have to get up and walk on

parathyroid
Do any of you have problems with your parathyroid glands? My calcium was slightly over range and PTH was 7.4 just over the higher end of range(7.2) I was wondering if there’s a connection with thyroid problems and parathyroid..I have graves.

Drugs and high Calcium
My Oncologist wants me to take Prolia, but the Insurance will not pay for it and wants me to take Zometa. However, I did research on Zometa and its reputation is questionable. What are the alternatives? Xgeva seems better. Any thoughts about this.

advice on bisoporol
Does anyone else get memory problems from bisoporol, I was fine on it but this past 4/5 months I’m having really bad memory problems and bouts of tearfulness and it’s very upsetting. Is there and alternative beta blocker that does not affect memory or would calcium channel blockers be better and what

Multi vitamins - at last some recognition
Hi everyone, I was pleased to see this today - as so many 'authorities' have repeatedly put down the use of multi vitamins as being a waste of money - here is a quite extensive study showing the opposite. I used to see a very highly acclaimed consultant who said exactly the same to me and would test
