Good evening Ladies well i should have been having my last carbo/caelyx tomorrow but my bloods are too low again 😪 try again next week, this is the first time I got through it with no infection so I thought I might be ok but never mind it just seems never-ending at the moment as I started the chemo

On second go carbo/caelyx. My first chem was carbo/taxol and I experienced bad eye flickers throughout. In my small time in remission my retina tore and I had to have laser on it ( very traumatic..hated it). The oncologist said the chemo had not done it. 

Has anyone else had two lots of ascites and no tumours just fluid...finding it hard to understand what is going on in my body.On second lot of chemo...carbo/caelyx.

Had CAELYX last Wednesday and hit the wall yesterday with OVERWHELMING tiredness.Doing ok otherwise thank god, nausea not too bad.Has anyone else experienced this.Hope everyone doing ok.

I am about to start 3rd line with carboplatin/caelyx and am in one of those"Oh no! I just can't do this again" moods. I have looked up the Macmillan site and scared myself silly.

After a few weeks of no treatment as Caelyx didn't work and to have a kidney stent I've finally started my weekly Taxol this afternoon, treatment went smoothly, yea yea!!!

Starting CAELYX next week as I reported abdominal pain and nausea.off chemo since last July .anyone have experience of this drug.bit nervous as I never had it before.Thanks .

Caelyx most of last year was brilliant but this seems to have dragged me down due to tiredness etc. I try and stay up beat but feeling so tired everything seems such an effort and I am writing this whilst having a rest during trying to clean the house.

She's now on Caelyx, three sessions in. She had another large build up of fluid during the past two months, and was drained last weekend, which bought relief, but seems to be struggling to recover from this. Can anyone share their experiences of this please?

It was then proposed that I have three 3rd-line treatments of carbo and caelyx followed by being put in an Ariel 3 trial at the RM. I think I was fairly fed up with the possibility of, going through it all over again! and decided to see if I could beat the ascities build up.

I went into remission until last September and have just completed second round of chemo - carbo/caelyx. I am also grappling with polymyalgia, the treatment for which is fat making steroids! My CA 125 has dropped from 5000 at diagnosis to under 50 now.

Just got back from oncologist review, he had my CT scan results and confirmed that Caelyx hasn't worked, I've got to have a stent fitted next week as there is a cancerous lump on one of my kidneys, I then go on to weekly Taxol from the 19th Feb, loosing my hair again for the second time in 14 months,

Had my scan at the Christie on Saturday after 6 sessions of Carboplatin/Caelyx during which time my CA125 had increased every month so I was dreading the results.

My mum is on 2nd line treatment after having Carbo/Taxol for her OC and now having Carbo/Caelyx as it has returned in her liver. Mum has said the Fatigue is so much worse.

She finished 6 of 6 2nd line Caelyx on 21 July 2015. Watch and wait for three months - Oct, CT scan, tumours had stayed put and even shrunk a bit and CA125 down from around 250 to 159. So today was the next three month check after another three months of watching and waiting.

Hi there just a quick question, i had my 3rd Caelyx treatment on the 4th January all went well, I've had minimum side affects which is great but I've got some discolouration under my boobs, it's red and brown in colour, there is no rash, feel good and no temp just wondered if anyone else has had this

Hi everyone just thought I would give you an update on my situation, I have had 4 out of 6 of carbo/ caelyx I must say it's the toughest one so far for me this is 3rd line.

Mid August I knew things were not right and went back and following CT scan which revealed granules of disease in the peritoneum, and Ca 125 risen to 107 I went back on to carboplatin and caelyx.

To all the kind ladies who posted after I read my oncologists letter to my gp stating my treatment options were limited after caelyx.

As caelyx has not worked she states that my options of further treatment are limited. What does this mean, anyone else had caelyx and it's not worked ? What treatment are you on now? Bobbie
