Pleurisy? Long post
Hi, new here. 6 weeks ago I went to A&E with severe chest/ left rib pain and vomiting. Without performing an x-ray on me, I was told that it was a spinal disc that was protruding into my rib cage. They said this could have been as a result of giving birth just 9 weeks ago and my posture changing? I was

Is it normal to be in THIS much pain?
The pain is crippling. I’ve had 2 ultrasound scans which showed nothing. The pain comes and goes in waves. On a bad day it’s really bad. The last 7weeks the pain seems to be getting worse. I’m waiting for a date for my laparoscopy. Is it normal for the pain to be mild one day and extreme the next day

She advised I go to the doctor about it as it might be something quite serious especially as it has got

supplements interfering with medication
I know it's an obvious one but what are your thoughts/experiences with taking supplements that may interfere with, in my case hydroxychloroquine, or other RA/PsA meds? I started pizotifen a few weeks ago for severe migraine and cluster headache prevention. It worked like magic but I gained 3/4 stone

What would you do right now?🤯🤯🤯
Can someone provide support or advice right now on what you would do. I’m sat here going out of my mind. I am in agony I could cry. Yesterday attended the hospital for a doctors on call app, she checked me over, prescribed me strong codeine, told me my stomach is tender and swollen (something I already

Radioactive iodine treatment uk
Hi I’m new here and live in the UK. I underwent radioactive iodine treatment twenty years ago for an overactive thyroid but now left with no thyroid function at all so have taken 150mcg synthetic thyroxine ever since. Since reading about NDT I would love to find a doctor here in the UK who would consider

Pain relief
Hi ladies Do any of you take slow release morphine capsules? I’ve been prescribed these but just feel reluctant to take them as I hate side effects although I take codeine (cocodamol) and occasionally ocycodone for worse pain Just wondering if the slow release ones will be more effective...I want to

Rheumy telephone appointment earlier
As most of you know I’ve been struggling despite the steroid injections into the knees and starting Sulfasalazine. I had my follow up with my rheumatologist earlier this afternoon and the upshot is that the steroid injections lasted all of three weeks. The Sulfasalazine she was hoping would have had

Medication and general care concerns
Hello to all. I was diagnosed with having a degenerative disease of my lumbar spine back in July 2011. Which has been life changing. When I say I have had all treatments I really have. I have been through and exhausted the pain clinics on two occasions. I have had extensive Physiotherapy, Accupunture

How you doing guys. I hope everyone is keeping safe and well. Was just wondering if I could get your thoughts on my latest bloods? This is after taking 125mcg levo and 12.5mcg Tiromel for two months. I still feel dreadful. I don’t think the T3 has done anything for me. I’ve read that if T3 doesn

Flare
I think I am having a flare up, am so tired all the time and got a lot off pain in my right shoulder! I take codeine for pain relief. I normally take 2 tablets in the morning 30mg each and that normally does me the whole of the day. But am having to take nearly the maximum to have no pain. I think everything
