How you doing guys. I hope everyone is keeping safe and well.

Was just wondering if I could get your thoughts on my latest bloods? This is after taking 125mcg levo and 12.5mcg Tiromel for two months.

I still feel dreadful. I don’t think the T3 has done anything for me.

I’ve read that if T3 doesn’t seem to help it could be an adrenals issue, so I’ll do the saliva test next week that I’ve been putting off!

My levels are looking ok so I’m feeling a bit hopeless with it all to be honest.

Brief background is that I had RAI in 2014. Nine months later I became sick and have been since. Went hypo and took 125mg since. I temporarily lowered that dose when I started T3 but am back on normal dose.

As well as doing the saliva test I did wonder whether it was worth trying a different kind of T3.

So gutted I’m still unwell.

Take care guys and thanks for any advice or tips you can offer.

How long have you been back on 125mcg levothyroxine?

How long on 12.5mcg T3?

Is this 2 x 6.25 T3?

You probably have room to increase to add 3rd dose

Perhaps wait until done adrenal test

B12 and folate could be better

What vitamin supplements are you currently taking

Are you on gluten free diet ?

How you doing Slow? Hope all is well, and thanks as always for your reply ❤️

Been back on 125 levo for two months.

Dropped to 12.5 T3 on April 1st. I take first thing in one go.

Yes I’ve got back on the gluten free train again but scoffed two doughnuts yesterday. Emotional let’s say!!

I’m supplementing Vit D, magnesium, folate and the k2 spray.

I’ll do the saliva test next week. Only been putting it off as to you can’t have coffee!

I might pay for a B12 shot to help that a bit

I’ll come back once I’ve had the adrenals tested 😀

Personally I can only tolerate T3 as split doses

And absolutely have to be strictly gluten free

This could be something I can look at, splitting my dose. I’d find it a bit tricky but can try it I guess!

I think it might be an adrenal issue due to the symptoms I tend to get in the morning of feeling a bit buzzy and shaky. The test will tell I guess.

Thanks Slow. We shall speak again!

Stay safe buddy 👊🏻

When I started on 2 doses per day it was 7am and 5pm approx

When endo added third dose it was 6am, noon and 6pm

After much experimentation I found it better to take 3 equal gaps

7am, 3pm and 11pm

Last dose helps improve sleep.

Many people say similar. But doesn’t suit everyone

Gluten can mess up cortisol levels

Thanks for sharing what worked for you. I’ve got nothing to lose by trying it!

I’m on Tiromel. Do you think it’s worth me trying Thybon?

I’ll take a look at the link. I know my local Chinese has glutened me. Just as well I’m not celiac!!

Takes 4-6 months to recover for any gluten.
