Angina after bypass surgery.
I had
bypass
surgery
7 weeks ago. When I returned home I walked everyday as directed without any issues for the first 4 weeks. Last week I began to get what can only be described as a heavy dull ache in my left arm when I walked.

Very confused and scared
He was taking about needing
bypass
surgery
which at £25000 is out of my price range privately. He advised me to contact my gp to request angiogram. My nhs consultant is ringing Wednesday morning which was already arranged.

Operations after heart bypass
I am interested in knowing about anyone who has had major
surgery
after a heart
bypass
even it wasn’t related to the heart and with full anaesthetic

Heart bypass update - I made it
Following on from my earlier post about my anxiety of having
bypass
surgery
(and the many fantastic replies, advice and stories) I am happy to say my quadruple bypass went ahead on Thursday and was a complete success.

Skin problems.
I have had very itchy rash for about 12 months and wondered whether this is caused by any of the heart medications I am taking following
bypass
surgery
two years ago. The rash seems to be getting worse and more widespread, covering large areas of my back, shoulders and chest.

Bisprolol 2.5mg post heart bypass surgery. Low RHR resting heart rate.
I am 64 and had heart
bypass
surgery
in January 2023. The hospital put me on 2.5mg of bisoprolol per day. Despite the inevitable ups and downs following invasive surgery i am recovering well but struggle often with feeling unwell with light headedness mild nausea and tiredness.

White Stitches in left leg
Out of hospital two weeks after triple
bypass
surgery
. I've noticed two white stitches, top of thigh and ankle on left leg. Will these dissolve on their own or do they have to be removed?Nobody mentioned them at the hospital.

Do I need
bypass
surgery
? With the NHS in its current state will they leave me on a waiting list? I feel unable to leave the house.

After bypass Surgery
My husband had

in November 2022. The process was successful but sadly they damaged his ulna nerve and he lost use of his right hand and has had severe nerve pain in the right arm.

Helping a parent through post op recovery
We are four days into double heart
bypass
surgery
and the sadness and anxiety about what lay ahead as well and truly kicked in (along with the AF)!!! I rack my brain thinking what would I want and need from my loved ones if I was in HDU missing life, missing myself??

Wide QRS interval
However, he also commented : “he does have a broad QRS at 148 milliseconds and first degree heart block as is often seen after
bypass
surgery
”. In fact I had both of these pre-
bypass
, but I wondered if anyone knew how good (or bad) the actual 148 ms figure was?

DP going in for heart bypass surgery.
DP is going in to the Royal Infirmary Edinburgh later in the week, beds allowing, for a double /triple /quadruple heart bypass, they'll decide when they get in there. He's really laid back, not stressing because he's generally really calm, but I've got the churny stomach, jitters and can't settle. what to say to husband before surgery…♥️
Doe anyone have any tips for what to say to my husband before his
bypass
surgery
, hopefully next week? He is very emotional and scared as the surgery is risky and outcome unknown. I’m terrified but want to be there for him and don’t want to say the wrong thing. Thank you ♥️❤️🩹🙏
