exercise after bypass surgery
had bypass a year ago and finally getting back to the gym - been taking it easy (possibly too easy) this last year as concerned that something may go “wrong” - but got to get back on with life - so does anyone can say that my heart/arteries are good as a normal heart and can push myself as much as I

Possible carotid artery problem discovered 3 weeks after double heart bypass surgery.
My hubby has been home for 2 weeks after his
bypass
surgery
, and because of an ongoing vision problem, it's now suspected that his carotid artery also has blockage(s) and clots are happening. He's going to have an ultrasound urgently. Poor man, still very much recovering from surgery.

I just had vascular
bypass
surgery
in my right leg. What should have been 3 days max in the hospital turned into 6 days plus 2 weeks at a rehab facility. Just had my 2 month follow up.

It’s been 4 weeks now since my
bypass
surgery
. All is going fine. When is it ok to use soap and water on my chest wound or have a bath? Up to now I have been rinsing in shower and patting dry. It is healing fine.

2 weeks after Bypass surgery
Good morning everyone 😊 Sorry for the delayed update. On 15 Jan I underwent CABG x3. I was in ICU on the ventilator for 24 hours after op as there was a bleed on my chest that they needed to correct before waking me up. I was completely unaware of any of this, my first memory was a 3am phone call from

ICU Stay Neuro Challenges
After her impella was removed and 11 days from her initial
bypass
surgery
- she woke up and was nodding yes and no and following commands! …then eventually she went from a throat ventilator to a trach.

Waiting for bypass
Unable to stents lad put balloon stents in, on dual platelet therapy while waiting to get on
bypass
surgery
list. Wait is making me very anxious. Managed to keep up moderate excersise. But don't understand why they want to see how I go on, surely it will only get worse.

Heart Bypass Surgery
Hi All, I out of absolutely nowhere got told I had had a Heart Attack following what I thought would be a routine blood test and a day that started 5weeks ago to meet my friend in the pub for the usual Quiz night ended with me being told I had quite severe CAD and required an urgent triple CABG. Here

PET Scan results -total ischemic burden 4%
And then if the 4% is accurate he should have worked with me to plan my treatment be it
bypass
surgery
, stent or what is needed. I plan to call his office tomorrow and ask for an appointment to get answers and a plan. But I am concerned that he will take offense at my questioning.

Hi everyone. My husband is currently in hospital..he has been in already for 4 weeks and its been confirmed today he needs a triple or quadruple bypass after having a silent heartattack that they don't know when it happened as he was taken in with what we were told was double pneumonia originally 😢

Low heart rate
My husband has always been low (normally about 52) but with all the heart meds they give you after
bypass
surgery
this is the result. He has spoken to his GP in the past but he always seems to be reluctant to change things.

. Approx 7 weeks later I had 3 x CABG.

Heart bypass surgery
I am currently in hospital as I had an angiogram but due to the extent of my heart disease I have been recommended for
bypass
surgery
(subject to satisfactory scans etc).

Jaw Pain A Week After Triple Bypass Surgery
I'm a 77 year old male who had triple
bypass
surgery
on 10/1/23. Surgery on 10/1/23 Sunday and send home Thursday. After a week after I started having jaw pain again. This pain always happened before my stents or before this bypass. When the jaw discomfort happens I also am short of breath.

Smoking After Bypass
Definitely food for thought for some as a friend's husband resumed smoking two weeks after
bypass
surgery
and did not survive a year!

Post CABG infection at leg wound site
My husband had Triple
bypass
surgery
on 1st Dec. Recovered really well and was looking great with minimal pain and getting stronger every day. Wounds had healed well although leg wound/scar where they took the saphenous vein was still a bit lumpy although closed, dry and healthy looking.
