Hi guys,I already had a CT scan and angiogram and have been transferred to a different hospital for bypass surgery to follow. My question is will I need to have another CT scan or will the Cardiologist use my recent one ? Thanks in advance all

Dear Stevie
Your Surgeon will review your case before he operates. In my case he wanted the three tests done immediately before operating. These were done as an inpatient which is a far better system than the more common regime of sending you off to other locations for the tests. If your surgeon is satisfied with the existing info then you will not need another scan.
The surgeons find out what is going on, only when the operation has started. They are unbelievably skilled and knowledgeable., so just go with the flow.
