ileostomy surgery recovery
I’ve been taking
buscopan
but that doesn’t do anything it’s just all so confusing I’m doing everything that I’m told but my system wasn’t great before the surgery but now it’s just awful I keep hoping each day I will wake up and things will have calmed down but they just haven’t 😞 xx

pain under ribs
I was also recommended
buscopan
but yet to try it. I should say I am generally active and healthy despite this.

Anti Spasmodics?
are "in play" again this morning. x2
Buscopan
does not seem to help. Grateful for any alternative anti-spasmodic or pain relief medication suggestions I could discuss with my GP please? I guess another option is to try and "block" mentally! I am new to IBS so very much on a learning curve!

I have tried taking all the normal potents in the night like
Buscopan
but nothing seems to help. I have 3/4 hrs of pain until a BM. I am so tired these days and very stressed! Any thoughts?

Ibs and meds for af
I can cope with it during the day and otc meds like
buscopan
help at night. I was prescribed anticoagulation in the form of apixaban 5mg bd. This is to reduce risk of stroke when you have af. In my case taking the anticoagulation was coincidental with the ibs becoming much worse.

Nothing stops stomach pain
Cocodamol nor
Buscopan
has helped either. Does anyone have any other suggestions of how to help relieve stomach pain. I don' t get bloating but the pain can be unbearable on an almost daily basis. Thanks.

Ibs pain
Things like
buscopan
dont work. The specialist said its most probably down to diet and ita causing a little ibs and referred me to the dietician. I am just wondering what other pains symtoms people have and where they feel pain etc.

Post-ablation, experiencing discomfort:occasional mild headaches with slightly blurred vision, slowed digestion leading to stomach discomfort/bloating, frequent burping and passing gas (partly managed with
buscopan
), especially at night. Occasional diarrhea.

Worried to take buscopan
She's quite a worrier in general, so she is scared to take
buscopan
because it can give you blurred vision. Is there anything natural she could take that would help? Something without the horrible side effects? What else could she do to relieve her symptoms?

Stomach cramps
I'm just trying
buscopan
but not sure if to just take when the episode starts or on a regular basis even though I dont get the stomach pain until my bowel decides to empty. Once the episode has passed I feel fine again but back to constipated for another 5 or so days, then same again.

Glaucoma and other medications
My GP has just prescribed
Buscopan
and the leaflet says that I shouldn’t take this if I have glaucoma. This led me to looking at other medications that I take which include antihistamines and occasional cough/cold remedies. It seems these also shouldn’t be taken if you have glaucoma.

IBS flaring since antibiotics
But
Buscopan
not really helping. I used to take Kolanticon. Think simethicone helped me. But gone off market. Can anyone recommend something to calm intestinal gas please. And maybe a mild gentle laxative. I end up with D very quickly and stop them.

Sore and tired - feeling like I need to "go" all the time....
I take fexofenadine for hayfever (which starts in Feb), and so I don't think I can take
Buscopan
with it - but actually
Buscopan
isn't very effective anyway. Just want rid of this constant urge to "go"properly! Totally fed up.
