hi Pancia I’ve taken buscopan before and find it doesn’t work for my ibs symptoms unfortunately.Has it worked for you ?

Sometimes but the best is bone broth and fermented foods with poridge and flax seeds in the morning

Ibs symptoms! Usually I take the prescribed dosage and it seems to work for me ! I have been a long suffering ibs patient and when I get flare ups it’s can last for a good while !! The doc prescribed amotriptillan for me and they really help !

hi amitriptyline is a migraine drug. I’d that what you meant ?

Amitriptyline is mainly used for depression and it can ease anxiety which helps with IBS symptoms, it can be addictive though.

it’s an old tricyclic. It’s not used for depression much anymore. But for pain. Fibromyalgia. Migraine. It can help if anxiety Is a trigger. Can calm the gut brain. But the side effects are a pain. So Nortriptyline better.

no I take them for pain relief in my stomach seems to calm

It down !! Buscopan I take for cramps ! Ibs is awful it comes in different strains everyone is different ! At one point I was so low with it ! Making my nerves bad !

There is no pain relief in amy. But it calms the brain. Where all pain begins.

Yes, helps a lot with cramping and slow downs my o er active gut a little.

I take buscopan when I have a flare up. It relieves the spasms in the guts.

Hi, I tried Buscopan in the past but it didn't help and seemed to affect my vision. Probiotics seem to help.

Hi I have been on buscopan 3 times a day for years!It is supposed to ease tummy cramps but I’m unsure how effective it is as I still get bouts of pain .

I take buscapan and find it helpful. If it stops helping I swap to compering for a while but havnt needed to for a long time
