Hi all further to my last post regarding my new treatment with the Transdermal
Buprenorphine
Patch (Bu Trans) I wish I had it just now the reason being that the other night while taking a shower I slipped and fell in the bath and to cut a long story short my shoulder still hurts like hell.

After my visit to the Pain Clinic yesterday and with varous medication Amitriptyline Pregabalin not working as they both gave me unwanted side effects I am now going to have a Transdermal
Buprenorphine
Patch (BuTrans). Has anyone used this method to get painrelief and does it work ?

Does anyone else find that NO medications work?
However, I would have expected
buprenorphine
or Oramorph to work - which they don't. I also have little relief from most antidepressants - doing better on the older tricyclic medications.

Hi all. I started using a 5mg Buprenorphine patch last Friday. It hasn't helped at all with my pain. Does anyone use these?
I started feeling sick on Sunday and last night spent most of the night throwing up the little food that I managed to eat. Is this a side effect? I know I have a leaflet but I don't want to talk myself into any side effects ~ if that makes sense?! Thanks in advance

Changed meds to include Ketamine but getting less relief now than before.
I tried
Buprenorphine
almost 3 years ago, my condition wasn't as bad as it is now, but it knocked me for 6 within a couple of hours of putting the patch on, but out of everything I have taken, even though I only had the patch on a day, it is probably the most pain relief any medication has given me.

OxyNorm 5mg
I have been taking 4-8mg of
Buprenorphine
for 6 months.. now is day one of OxyNorm 5mg - it says 1-2 tablets every four hours.. do I HAVE to take it this often, even if the pain isn't that bad - to avoid withdrawals? Any information REALLY appreciated.

Inflammatory arthritis, lung condition - morphone patches and benzodiazapines.
GP gave me
Buprenorphine
patches (morphine). On reading the blurb I became most concerned. Has anyone who has arth and a lung condition used them? I would like to hear if they affected your breathing.
