What is the longest period of time has anyone been on this medication any ideas ?

As I have just started and even at 2 days wearing the Patch I know a reduction in my pain .

My dosage is 10mi per hour.

Hello pirate

David started on his Fentanyl (sam difference) about 8 years ago and has never found anything better. Very happy although dose has increased over the years. He also has a small top up when really bad.

If you find the patches work for you - stick with them. Sorry about the pun!

Hi Pat thats good for your David, and if the Patch works for me yes I will stick too it.

This is now my 3rd day wearing the Patch.

In that time I have as advised by my Doctor stopped taking my Cocodamol 30 x500 mg.

As I was on them for several years already I know a big difference in that today after my work I am not tired ,now that is a surprise.

Hope that its a good day for both of you . Sam.

I started on 5mcg about 3 years ago. I've gradually had to increase the dose, and now I'm on 35mcg. I'm still in a lot of pain, but the patch is the best drug so far for helping reduce the pain. I do hope it works for you!

thebuzzard Hi as for myself the start dose is 10mi and now into my 3rd day of wearing the Patch and I know a big difference ,however when my month is up I will ask the doctor if the dosage can be a wee bit higher .

Just now my pain has been reduced but its still there .

I prefer the Patch to the Cocodamol 30x500 mg pills that I have been on for some years now. Sam.

Hi

I was on it for over a year....I had to be medically detoxed off of it...I had to increase the does about every 12 week'suntil I was at 200 micro grams....it helped but did not eliminate the pain. The withdrawals were very, very rough...that's my experience....best of luck xx
