Have Your BUN/Creatine/eFGR Readings Gone Up?
Hi Dear MBC’ers: I’m on IBrance/Faslodex/Xgeva going on 25 months & I’ve noticed a concerning increase in my Kidney & Creatine labs - all now at the top of the normal range. My BUN/Creatine Ratio is well over range. I’m taking 100mg of IBrance. Questions: 1. Is this common? 2. What solutions

Recent and upcoming surgery
I had surgery last Thursday, March 25, for a hernia repair. While repairing the hernia, the surgeon observed a small bowel blockage and had to open the abdomen and repair that by removing a section of small intestines, the same surgery I had a year ago Jan. While coughing post-op I felt a pop. The

Pfizer vaccine
Hi, my mom may be starting Ibrance soon and her oncologist is recommending she get the vaccine. We're a bit wary on them and I just wanted to get this community's thoughts on it.

VERZENIO question
Anyone taking VERZENIO and having hair problems. My hair is like straw with kinks. Nothing I have tried helps it. They tell me that my hair follicles are distorted because of the meds I am on. Does anyone taking Ibrance or VERZENIO have this problem. I have finally resorted to a wig. I also take

When to take Ibrance
I have been taking Ibrance and Letrazole in the mornings. I was just recently reduced from 100 mg to 75 mg because of my continued blood work issues. Wondering what part of the day all of you on the same drugs take yours. Was told the 75 mg was just as affective but not as hard on your WBC. Hope everyone

Have you ever used a patch to record the rhythm of your heart at home?
We think diagnostic technologies like this can be especially useful during the COVID-19 pandemic, allowing a patient to first have a telephone/video consultation before the patch is sent direct to their home. Zio is a promising new ECG patch which can be worn for up to 14 days. The National Institute

Recent diagnosis of Paroxysmal AF and underlining Lown-Ganong-Levine (LGL) syndrome
Hello all, I haven't written on here before but thought I would see if anyone knows some further information then what I could find on Google... ( which has not been helpful) At the end of January this year I ended up in hospital with AF. My resting heart rate was around 160 bpm and irregular, normally

Ibrance side effects
I just started ibrance on Wednesday. Today has been the worst day of my life. Does it get better? Is is that ibrance isn't for me?

Scientific Study on Fenbendazole - for Cancer Treatment
Hi fellow MBC’ers: I was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer that metastasized to my left pelvic bone (acetabular) in April 2019. I had 5 SBRTs to the pelvic bone. In May 2019 I started IBrance, Faslodex & Xgeva. In August 2019 I became aware of the Joe Tippen’s protocol & added that to my daily

Mammogram today wish me luck
Although I am already on Ibrance, Faslodex and Xgeva, I’m getting a mammogram today to make sure everything else is OK. And yes it freaks me out just thinking about it. Wish me luck ladies. I tell myself what are the odds I could have another new cancer?

Post surgical nerve pain issues?
I'm wondering if anyone has had issues with nerve pain following mastectomy surgery? I had a bilateral mastectomy 4 month ago had really bad nerve pain after the surgical drugs wore off. After 6 weeks I had a nerve block done. It really helped for quite a while but now I am having issues - tightness

Broad complex tachycardia
Has anyone experienced broad complex tachycardia on a 24 holter ? Should I be worried? GP has requested an echo! I had two episodes that lasted less than 3 seconds and no symptoms other than felt them. GP said my HR went to 146bpm. The rest was normal sinus rhythm. Feeling a bit stressed with it all

Ibrance tablets
When I started Ibrance I was receiving capsules. They also sent me a pill caddy to put them in. A few months in I then received blister pack tablets with no explanation or direction. I dispensed the blister packs into the pill caddy just as I had done with the capsules. Just recently I read that I should

My Apple watch
I have been extremely surprised today when I saw my EP at the hospital. My watch was recording that I had AF and I felt dizzy and breathless. However my ECG tracing in the hospital recorded that I was in sinus rhythm. I have always trusted my watch but now in shock as it doesn’t seem very accurate.
