I forgot to say ......
Ibrance used to cost $6000 a month in New Zealand, but I am very lucky as it is now free.

I have hope
I am new and this is my first post. I had breast cancer 11 years ago at the age of 64. It was caught very early by routine mammogram and the surgeon was just going to remove the very small lump. I said I would feel safer if I had a mastectomy, and he agreed to that. Now the cancer has come back, this

Scans and questions
I have a question about CT scan results. I was diagnosed with MBC a year ago after being 5 years clear of breast cancer. I'm on Ibrance 125 mg and Faslodex shots. The cancer had spread to both sides of my neck, my sternum, and lung. I had a PET scan in January and the tumors had shrunk in my neck

Fun weekend.
Morning, so today is my eldest child's birthday, hes 5 today. I'm a mixture of emotions, so happy to see his birthday and hoping there are many more to see. We went to Flamingoland yesterday for his birthday, he was also tall enough for a few roller coasters this year but he is definitely not an adreneline

Paclitaxel , Trastuzumab , Pertuzumab IV chemo update after Ibrance & faslodex quit working .
For anyone waiting to decide if it is time to move on to IV Paclitaxel I wanted to assure you that for me it has not been that bad. The side effects are tolerable . I have finished 6 rounds (12 infusions ) . It is a long day at the clinic on treatment day the first week I get all 3 medications with blood

Metoprolol and hair loss.
This may not be relevant to anyone reading this but I had an experience about 3 mo. ago concerning metoprolol. I had taken for my heart for over 2 years. I began losing my hair at an alarming rate. My cardiologist said to stop the metoprolol and begin Cardizem CD. The hair loss has moderated but

Seems my back goes through bouts of pain especially first few months after Denusomab (last one end March) any one else experiences

Help with Pudendal Nerve Neuralgia
Pudendal neuralgia. Hi, can you help or share? It seems that I have problems with my pudendal nerve and this roaming, changing pain is not good as some will know. I have a good physio and will investigate but I wonder what others have done with this. Physio thinks PD is most likely and it fits with

Broken rib
Hi all, It's been a bit since I've posted - but I have been keeping up with you all! I'm still holding steady on Ibrance and Letrozole. My bone mets aren't showing up on my PET scans, so I'm thankful for that. My concern is that on my most recent PET scan, another recent rib fracture was documented

Ongoing AF with low HR
My AF seems to be back after four blissfully trouble-free years (for AF that is, not life in general, lol) . It started last Wednesday out of the blue and has continued ever since. Occasionally I get a reading on my Kardia of Sinus Rhythm with Supraventricular Ectopy, which is what I thought it was

Ibrance, surgery, ibrance
Hi all, Not posted for a long time but hoping for some experiences/comments. Had 11 cycles of ibrance and responded very well. Surgeon is now prepared to remove nodes under arm and right breast. Oncologist has advised will need to be off ibrance for just over my week off and can resume bloods permitting

Irregular palpitations
Hi all. I've recently been diagnosed with PAF after 2 years. I'm on 1.25mg bisoprotol and apixaban. I had a telephone appt with cardiologist and getting a novacor monitor fitted for 7 days to monitor my heart. Also waiting for echocardiogram. Since being on medication my HR hasn't gone above 100. However

Urinary Tract Infection help
Ladies, I seem to keep getting recurring urinary tract infections which I think is the result of the meds that I’m on. I currently am on Ibrance, Faslodex and Xgeva. They tell me it’s not unusual to get the urinary tract infections. But I’m just wondering if anybody has any suggestions of how you’re

Bone scan on Thursday showing Slight uptake in L2 L3 and L5
I’ve been on Arimidex for 4 years with Xgeva shots every 3 months since dx Mbc in January 2017. My tumor markers have increased by about 10 a month so I’m now at 121. CT scan in December didn’t show progression, Pet Ct scan last August showed uptake in same vertebrae but they said it could be osteoarthritis
