Hi fellow MBC’ers: I was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer that metastasized to my left pelvic bone (acetabular) in April 2019.
I had 5 SBRTs to the pelvic bone. In May 2019 I started IBrance, Faslodex & Xgeva. In August 2019 I became aware of the Joe Tippen’s protocol & added that to my daily intake of meds & supplements.
My first “No evidence of disease” (NED) PT/CT scan occurred in November 2019. I have had clear scans every 5 months since then. In early March 2021 my PET/CT scan came back clear. My oncologist said I am in Radiological Remission. That I will only have future PET/CT SCANS if I have any symptoms.
Let me know if you think that is appropriate standard of care. I’m happy but a little skeptical since I had my first cancer diagnosis & full radiation, chemo, surgeries in 2016 & the cancer “came back” so soon. Left leg pain started Aug 2018 not diagnosed as left pelvic bone MBC until April 2019.
As I mentioned above, I am taking Fenbendazole “FenBen” on the Joe Tippen’s Protocol. I came across this medical research paper & thought you’d be interested in reading it:
thank you for posting the link! I will definitely look at it in a minute but first wanted to tell you how happy I am to hear your good news! I also follow that fenben protocol, take vitamin E on those 3 days, and also take ginger and letrozole. My last scan showed no progression and my last cancer antigen test showed in the normal range. praise God for your good news! ps I could only take ibrance for 4 mos. and I started having chest pains, it was very wonderful to have something else in my arsenal, but Jesus is my Healer, He is the source of my joy! God bless you and heal us all in Jesus name, amen! <3 xo
Thank you as well for your post! I’m so happy for your results! I also have Mets to my left pelvis. I am definitely going to look into this. I’m just curious about what your oncologist’s opinion was on this. I see mine tomorrow and will definitely have a discussion on this topic.
My onc knows I’m on FenBen. He says I can take supplements & other items as long as they don’t interfere with the treatment I’m on. He agrees with the Sloan Kettering interaction app to confirm items before use. The US CDC has not approved Fenbendazole for cancer treatment. It’s made by Merck as a dog wormer. The sister drug Menbendazole is made for humans & it is used as a treatment for cancer & used in the UK under the COC program.
US doctors cannot prescribe anything that is not tested in clinical trials & approved by the CDC or they can be sued & lose their license. Even oncologists at MD Anderson are aware of FenBen & the effectiveness but will not go on record endorsing or prescribing it. I respect that.
Part of me doesn’t want it approved because it won’t be affordable & accessible any longer.
Thank you. I just saw my oncologist and asked her about this and of course she said very interesting but no. However if the Ibrance and letrazole are not helping I will definitely be going to try this. I appreciate all your knowledge. 🙏🏻
Hi, I had also heard something about there being a preferable one for humans (I think it was the Mendbendazole one?) but I can’t remember now. I’m in the US. Did you mean that the Menbendazole was preferable to the Fenbendazole as a cancer agent? Thanks
Hi Verbena1: The Mendbendazole is the human form but it is not prescribed for cancer patients in the US. It’s a drug used for other purposes. The UK prescribes it under their COC program. An expensive add on to traditional treatment. You cannot get this drug without a prescription.
That is why many people add the Fenbendazole (OTC) to their prescribed cancer regimes. The study shows the clinical success of Fenbendazole against cancer. Not comparing it to Mendbendazole.
Awesome news for you! I think the standard of care sounds wonderful. I think it is great that your doctor approves of your use of the Joe Tippens protocol, too. My doctor is very conservative when it comes to supplements and does not even want me taking Zinc! I am on Ibrance and Letrozole since November 2020 and had 2 sets of 5 SBRT's on lesions that were found on my left hip area (ischium and sacrum). Would love to be at the point that you are. I am definitely going to read the article you posted. Best wishes to you!
Greetings Sister/Warrior I am so happy for you. I believe in homeopathic modalities, and if my cancer were to return I would use, or add Joe Tippen's protocol. 14 years NED thank GOD.😇
Congratulations on your stable NED, and thank you for sharing the info re: Joe Tippen’s protocol. Do you continue taking Ibrance and Faslodex along with the protocol’s drugs?Hope that the great results continue!
Good morning. I just started on Xeloda and Fenben with the JT protocal. I have stage 4 metastatic breast cancer spread to my bones and liver. I am interested in how you're doing today? I hear a lot of people take Fenben as maintenance after NED. How long were you on both and what was your dosage of both? Love to hear about your journey.
I have been on IBrance/Faslodex/Xgeva since May 2019. I added the Fenbendazole JT protocol in August 2019. My first NED scan was Nov 2019 & it has continued NED as of my last scan October 2020. I will stay on the JT standard protocol & IBrance 100mg & monthly Faslodex. They stopped the Xgeva (bone strengthening) shots after 2 years. I am doing great! Living an almost normal life. I have neuropathy & mouth sores occasionally from IBrance. My oncologist says I stay on the same treatment until it stops working. 🙏❤️🙏
Hi Praising! I’m still doing great after 4.5 years on my original MBC drugs & the Joe Tippens protocol. Fenben has no side effects that I can tell. I wish you the best!
You may have this wrote somewhere. What part of joe tippens protocol are you doing or all? Was your oncologist ok with this? My mom is currently on Xeloda she did ibrance for almost 3 years. Thanks so much
My oncologist knows I’m on all this. It’s in my medical record.
Typically, oncologists only prescribe & recommend FDA approved drugs since that is the approved standard of care. They could be sued & lose their license if they did otherwise. If I were in their shoes, I would do the same thing. It is up to us to educate ourselves byy finding evidence-based solutions & choose what we want to add to our prescribed treatment to boost our immunity/longevity/outcomes. I do not take any supplements that are contraindicated for the prescribed drugs. I use the Sloan Kettering app to verify this.
