Bisopropol as pill in pocket

New to Apixaban
Having been diagnosed with Arrhythmia, I will shortly start taking 5mg Apixaban twice a day. This causes me much concern. Will I be able to lead a normal life, eg play golf, go abroad on holiday etc and will I be able to have a couple of glasses of wine each day? I am currently a regular social drinker

Hi everyone! I am writing on behalf of my mom. In Dec 2001 at 37 years old, she was diagnosed with Stage 2/Grade 3/ER +/PR +/ HER2 -. She had surgery, chemo, radiation and 5 years of tamoxifen. December 2021, she’s received a metastatic diagnosis. She had a routine mammogram in August which was clear

Petscan showed progression. Moving from Ibrance to Piqray. Terrified.
I'm ER/PR positive, Her2-Negative with the Pic3 mutation. My last Petscan showed progression in the right breast where my open tumor is. Working on getting that removed in the next month. Also a few bone mets showed up. Now my onc is moving me to Piqray, Fulvestrant (which I'm already on) and adding

Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas to all the beautiful people in this community. It is one year to the day I started Ibrance and did not think life could ever be this good again. So a big thankyou to the ladies who have supported me through this year, made me realise it was not the end and hey life goes on, different

Ibrance and lung issues
Is there anyone here who is taking Ibrance that has mets to the lung? That is where my breast cancer spread. I am on Xeloda and Aromasin now and the tumor markers are going up.

Oral fulvestrant update
Hello ladies - I've been on Ibrance and letrozole since September 2018. I am treated at Mass General in the Boston area. I am stable for now. During my appointment with my oncologist yesterday, I asked about next steps when the time comes. I told her how I know several people on this site who do not

MBC Baggage
Excited off to Gretna Green in Scotland tomorrow to take our renewal of wedding vows before Christmas. We had to laugh at our baggage and oh how it has changed since our honeymoon baggage there many moons ago. My suitcase now exists of Ibrance, Adcal and painkillers if needed, hopefully not. My newTricia

Cough cough and more cough
Hello pretty ladies 🌺 I hope you are spending a relaxed Sunday. Please I need a solution. I am having a cough at specific times, right after eating and I am sitting up. If I'm standing it doesn't happen to me. If I have a coughing fit and drink water, it goes away. When I get in the car, I immediately

Why Do I Keep Getting Pleurisy ?
Why do I keep getting pleurisy ? I don't smoke , never had , no history of asthma - I was hospitalised in June and given an x-ray confirming it was in the bottom of my left lung and I was given six steroid pills and two sessions on a nebuliser . Then my GP said I had asthma . I'm a woodwind player !

Hi ladies. Just wondering how long the above meds have worked for you for MBC? I have been on them for 4 years and I am starting to get anxiety that they won’t work much longer. Thoughts? Thanks. Marian e

Spine Radiation Treatment Next Week
Since my last post where I'd had an MRI scan and they were concerned about size of lesion on my T12 vertebrae, several people have reviewed all my scans. Yesterday I met with Consultant Radiographer and recommended to have treatment. I'm not in any pain but this lesion is starting to surround the spinal

Hands and feet pain
Hi ladies. I was diagnosed de novo in January 2019 with HER2+ BC with METS in my peritonea. I’ve been on Letrozol and Ibrance since then and my last scan was NED thank God. I am having lots of pain in my hands and feet which I assume is from the drugs. Has anyone else had these side effects and, if
