Hi to all,

Just had a blood test and was wondering about the results which are different from usual

leukocytes, 2,5 vs 3,8

neutrophils 1,2 vs 1,5, ok because above 1

lymphocytes 1,1 vs 2,89

potassium 5,1 vs 4,3 yet creatinine ok at 6

I'm on anastrozole and ibrance 125 since july 2020 for extensive bone mets - complete metabolic response at pet in september 2020.

Since octobre 2020, I have sometimes a slite pain in my right hip. I had primary tumor removed in March 2020 and my breast has become really sensitive since november just like before having a period. I don't have that problem with the other breast.

I don't see onc till 20th january. Should I see my GP?

Love to all

Lucie

Hi Lucie,

According to the Mayo Clinic, a high potassium reading could be due to dehydration. With the targeted treatments like Ibrance, as you probably know, it is common to have the white blood cells affected.

Anyway, it seems your treatment is working well! Meanwhile, drink lots of water before you see your oncologist in January.

Best Wishes,

Cindy

Hi Cindy, Thank you so much for the information.

I'm going to make a big effort and drink much more water. I thought it came from eating too much black chocolate, nuts and fruit. I had had a lot the day before.

I have a other blood test in a month.

I have to watch potassium and also sugar.

Lovexxx
