Hi Everyone, I had an AV Node Ablation and Pacemaker implanted all on the same day last Thursday 1/20/22. I was in a situation where I was having many different heart rhythms, svt, atypical aflutter and afib. I have had two MAZE procedures which worked for a while but unfortunately staying in sinus

Best treatment for sudden ectopics?
Hello, fellow AF/ectopics sojourners! I'm in Kentucky, new to HealthUnlocked. Had occasional vagally-mediated AF episodes for 10 yrs, but since covid started 2 yrs ago, I think stress/anxiety upped my episodes to weekly, and recently, every 3 days. I just started daily 12.5 mg metoprolol (2 days

Interstitial lung disease
My last CT scan in December show inflammation in the bases of both lungs in the peripheral lungs. I know this can be caused by Ibrance but it’s very rare at 1 percent. I had Covid in December and this showed up in my lungs 2 days before my symptoms which were only sinus issues and headache. Again I had

Cramps in Legs and feet
I am beginning my 4th yr on Ibrance, Letrozole, and (Xgeva every 3 mos.) I have been getting cramps in my feet that makes me feel like the bones are out of joint. Then the pain starts to travel up my leg to my calf. This happens mainly at night. My assumption is the Ibrance( I’ve been on 100mg for about

Pacemaker fitted?
Hi As someone with PAF, plus "secondary degree heart block and short sinus pauses" but fortunately with virtually no symptoms I am taking Apixaban and my cardiologist may well advise me to have a pacemaker fitted following a current seven day patch result in a few days time. So any advice/thoughts

Hello from a Newbie
I’ve had palpitations for years, however, the GP has never been able to trap them, in November I went for a routine ECG and was informed I was in AF, at long last it was trapped, I was so relieved as I was starting to think it was all imagined. I was sent to Ambulatory Care, another ECG, not in AF again

3 days since PVI: is this normal?
Hi Ive never posted before but have read the useful information shared by members so asking for advice and reassurance. I have Paroxymal AF and had a PVI cryo ablation on Monday. the first few days were as expected: bit breathless, missed beats, tired. I thought things were slowly improving until last

Reply to jersey-jazz. I thought you might also be interested in my medical history.
If you don’t mind to read a long story, I would love to provide more details. I moved to US since 2000. I worked here and had insurance all the time but never think about to use it since I always think myself as a healthy person. My first diagnosed DCIS on 2012 was in Taiwan when I went back to visit

New nodules?
Had PET scan today with report showing 6 new lung nodules along with a cyst on the liver and left kidney. None showed hyperactivity. Been on Ibrance and Arimidex for 30 cycles for lung metastasis found in May of 2019. I will see oncologist next Tuesday to hear his opinion. Not sure whether to freak

That's scotched my plans!
I had oncologist phone call today. He seemed very pleased and confirmed the written info I'd received the other day, that all is stable. I pressed him for three months ibrance so that I can actually make plans. I also move to three monthly zolondronic acid after next week. So if I can have all of

Hi to all my fellow Warriors. I’m 71 and I’ve been treated for Stage 4 Metastatic BC for 11 months. 3 years before that I had stage 2B BC. I took Femara for 3 years with lots of side effects. Then I suffered horrible back pain. I walked with a cane. Couldn’t sleep. Since being diagnosed with Mets

Permanent AF?
The day has finally come where I went to hospital with sudden onset AF to be told that they won’t do anything. I’m to stay on my meds, flecainide and bisoprolol and to go back if I get severe symptoms. They have said a resting heart rate of 130 is fine because I am haemodynamically stable. I am ( still

Fasolex
I took fasolex and xgeva for one month. Then Ibrance was added. The two together have shrunk my bone tumors. My BC has metastasized to my bones. Now I’m pain free and no fatigue Hopefully your mother will do great with it. Let me know

Botox and Fillers
This may seem ridiculously vain, but just because I have cancer doesn't mean I don't want to look my best for as long as I'm able. I was wondering if any one who is on Ibrance and Letrozole has asked their oncologist if it is ok to have either Botox or dermal fillers. I had both before my diagnosis and

Still irregular pulse
Hi, I have had PAF since 2014. I am lucky that I don't have many symptons apart from a slight thudding feeling in my chest and an irregular pulse. The episodes used to be monthly then I had 6 in a couple of weeks, but for the last 3 years they've been very intermittent for which I'm very grateful. An

Good news from my first post treatment scan.
Hello everyone, I’ve had a mixed start to the year. I’ve just recovered from covid. Luckily it was a mild case helped by the fact that I’m triple vaxed, but I still came off Ibrance for the duration of my quarantine (10 days here in Cyprus). I was not expecting much change from my first scan since starting
