Steroid budesonide warning
Hi all. I have been on budesonide(symbicort 200) for 10 years. In that time I bled very badly and my skin thinned to the point that I split myself over brushing off a table. I also bruised badly. My small jack Russell would run across my chest and leave little bruises from his paws. I went onto beclazone

Maxillary/Aspergillusus
I had Maxillary surgery a few years ago and developed acute sinus problems approx. 2 yrs. after the surgery. After no response to antibiotics I was referred to an ENT doctor who through a CAT scan and cultures diagnosed Aspergillusis along the wall on the left maxilllary region. After surgery/removal

How to get Budesonide in Spain?
Hi All! New issue, lol! I've got Crohn's. I'm home in the US for the summer, but returning soon to Spain to teach. My US doctor took me off prednisone, and put me on Budesonide (9mg tablets, not the inhaler). (I cannot switch back to prednisone due to long-term side effects.) I contacted a friend there

Fostair NEXThaler
I've been railroaded into having Fostair NEXThaler by the Asthma nurse at my surgery , I've been on Clenin Modulute 250 mcg , salbutamol and salmetarol , 2 puff of each twice a day, for over 30 years ( back then it was Becotide and Ventolin ) and my asthma has been in control . I've just read through

Nurse takes blue inhaler away!
She has taken for quite sometime
Budesonide
/
Formoterol
(turbohaler) as a preventor. At her asthma check up at the university doctors (1st one), the nurse has taken her blue inhaler off her and told her to use her preventor as this too has relievers in it.
