Hospital meds
I’m currently in hospital where I just came for a
bronchoscopy
so wasn’t meant to stay. So very unprepared. Some time ago I started splitting my dose the bigger part 100mg at night and 50 in the morning.

PSMA Scan and Primary Lung Cancer
It was previously looked at with
bronchoscopy
but they couldn’t even see anything to biopsy when they went in. So it would be very atypical for this to be a primary lung cancer given it has grown only 2mm over the course of over 2 years, when lung cancers usually spread fast.

No diagnosis and frustrated
They also did a
bronchoscopy
and found an increased number of lymphocytes. Oh, and I apparently under performed in my exercise test. But still the doctors are telling me it’s nothing when I know it’s not due to how my body is feeling and behaving, and how things keep deteriorating.

Day 7 !
I can’t get definite diagnosis until I am well enough to have
bronchoscopy
and CT .. so plan is to treat as asthma ( confusing as airway collapse is treated differently to asthma ) and get me well enough to go home and wait for outpatient.. BUT at least I’m finally being looked at again ...

Help and Support with cancer anxiety (Mom)
That next morning she had the
bronchoscopy
and immediately was sent to ICU. My dad called us and told us to see her in case of anything because she was bad. As the week went by, my mother was intubated and sedated while receiving dyalisis. It was alot on her.

Strange, metallic smoulder. What might be causing it?
Should I ask for a
bronchoscopy
, or something else? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Bronchoscopy with BAL
I've had CT scans, CPET testing, and blood tests galore, but on Thursday I will have my first ever
bronchoscopy
with BAL and possible biopsy...and I am terrified. I really hated having the tube down my nose so I hope they'll do it by mouth this time, but does it hurt?

Alagille Syndrome/TOF with Pulmonary Atresia
CT scan showed no physical airway obstruction while the
bronchoscopy
showed his left airway closed. Both of his kidneys stopped working. He’s still on ECMO and now on dialysis. Despite all that I’m trying to stay positive that my baby will come out of this madness. I need some motivations.

Squamous Cell Stage II B Lung Cancer- Be Your Own Advocate
First was a
bronchoscopy
which was inconclusive so followed by a CT guided needle biopsy and PET scan ordered at the same time. I had stressed I did not want to be told any news over the phone nor alone.

Bronchoscopy WITHOUT Sedation
Today I got my
bronchoscopy
! I was worried about getting sedation with it so I opted to have no sedation! Just the throat numbing spray. I am here to say it was NOT the worst thing of my life!

Bronchoscopy!!!! HELP-ADVICE
I have to get a
bronchoscopy
done on Friday and I am so afraid of being put to sleep under general anesthetic and of having sedation! Doctors said I can do it without general anesthetic and sedation. I’ve read about some people doing it without sedation and just having the throat spray.

What next?
I just had a
bronchoscopy
with a biopsy. I have not yet gotten the results but we all know what a lit up PET scan indicates. The doctor that performed the
bronchoscopy
stated that "in order to get to the involved lymph nodes he had to work around the trachea.

Bronchiectasis with Pseudamonas in the past
Summer of 2017 my lung Dr sent me for an outpatient procedure to my local hospital to have a
bronchoscopy
done, my first ever. During the procedure my lung was punctured and I wound up in the hospital for a week and came home on intravenous antibiotics prescribed by an infectious disease doctor.
