Feeling alone and down
I had a
bronchoscopy
straight away ( obviously saw lots of muck but nothing terrible) and since then I’ve been in the cycle of infections and antibiotics from the gp.

Bronchoscopy pain.
I have COPD and had a
bronchoscopy
and felt fine after but woke in the night gasping for breath and it was bad most of the night . Only a microwave bag helped enough for me to eventually sleep.

Diagnosis after years of chest infections. Employee doesn’t appear to be very understanding.
I’ve had a
bronchoscopy
and have an appointment with the physio team in two weeks. I’ve been doing well until this Sunday when I started off with flu. I was so ill on Monday I couldn’t take my son to school.

I wondered if any of you have had a
Bronchoscopy
, and if so, whether it gave you an arrhythmia? I aspirated some meat back in October and it is looking like I will need a

Bronchoscopy
I need to push for the docs to do a
Bronchoscopy
to get it out (if they believe a mortal human like me). Can I ask your experiences of this please? Would they do flexible or under GA? I have an arrhythmia and I am terrified of something going wrong. Thank you x

Advice needed!!!! Things have changed for my son
He had a
Bronchoscopy
in December and a CT scan at the start of this year that showed things that were in line with this diagnosis. Also his bronchoiles in his left lung are floppy. He's allergic to animal dander, dustmites, moulds, pollen, milk, egg, soya and gets cold urticaria.

Bronchoscopy
I am having a
bronchoscopy
in a few weeks to allow samples to be taken from my lungs. Consultant wants to see if there is underlying infection. I am terrified of the proceedure and wondered if anyone had any advice and indeed if there is any other way infection can be detected?

I'm new here, but been reading for a while! Really need help from all the knowledgeable people here!
Was decided to do
Bronchoscopy
to biopsy around that lung. Did 8 biopsies, a brushing & a washing of that lung for cells.

Coughing Up Blood
I had also had a
bronchoscopy
earlier this week. I have also had TB in the past (in 2014) What could be causing this bleeding based on the fast that I don't think the issue is with my nose. I am greatful for any clarification.

Neck and Chest CT scan - aspirated food
I wish someone would just do a
bronchoscopy
and take the sausage out. I know this sounds sos tupid compared to what most of you are going through and I am so sorry for such a ridiculous sounding post. I'm just really frustrated and upset and feeling in utter despair. Thank you :)

Cancer
He has to have
bronchoscopy
on Wednesday. Terrified they will find asbestos (mesothelioma). He’s a builder of the old school before health and safety recognised how being exposed to asbestos could come back years later and kick you up the backside.

Lung lavage/bronchoscopy procedure
Hi all. Posted some time ago to ask about lavage and now have an appointment in 5 days time for this procedure. Anyone else here had this done when suffering with substernal goitre? I'm thinking there may be a deviation in my thorax from this flipping goitre, so would that make a difference to the

Right lung congestion
I’ve had chest X-rays, a
bronchoscopy
, pulmonary function tests but no chest CT. They say I have no obstructions but I continue to question part of my anatomy (bronchioles) being damaged or constricted. They just look at me and hand me a follow up appt.

Possibly MAC now too!
I am having a
bronchoscopy
on October 2nd. Just had another CT scan yesterday. Pulmonary doctor wants to check me for MAC. It looks like I may have that fun disease along with the Bronchiectasis and a bout with pseudomonas. It just keeps getting better and better. Anyone familiar with MAC?

INTERSTITIAL LUNG DISEASE
I have to have a
Bronchoscopy
once the pneumonia is 100% clear and this may determine whether it’s the RA itself that has caused the damage or the treatment. Either way, the outlook is pretty grim. I’m sad. I’m scared. Has anyone got some positive responses for me, please! J

The Chartis experiment and the missing scope
Hello folks,i have just returned from having my 'Chartis
bronchoscopy
',this rather long winded, if you will excuse my play on words,
bronchoscopy
is a pre requirement to determine the suitability for the insertion of Endobronchial valves to increase lung capacity in patients suffering with Emphysema.
