Cross-referral?
She also gave me a leaflet on
bronchoscopy
which she said was 'so you know about it if I ring you and say we're going to do one'. No idea though if will receive letter for that, or just call, or neither if they decide not to.

Anyone with swallowing problems?
My daughter chokes alot and had food found in her lungs on her
bronchoscopy
. She was therefore diagnosed with 'aspiration' and referred to a speech therapist. last week she had a video xray which looked at her swallowing mechanism.

Anyone experienced this?
Am hoping I can tone down the coughing and this feeling before I have a
bronchoscopy
as it doesn't seem likely to be very helpful.

Stuck between a rock & a hard place and very confused!!
On the other hand I'm back at my chest specialist on Friday for my
Bronchoscopy
results of the samples & biospsys so don't know whether or not to ask my GP to sign me off again until I've had those results as a compromise and then take it from there.

Fluctuating Sats
Today I had a
bronchoscopy
, and afterwards, waiting for the (very very mild) sedative to wear off, I turned round and saw my sats were at 92, but they then climbed quickly, (without me appearing to do anything), but kept changing pretty quickly, although they didn't go that low again that I saw.

Really nervous now about Bronchoscopy :(
I have my
bronchoscopy
and lung wash procedure tomorrow morning, and the nerves have set in well and truely now!! I've had a
bronchoscopy
before but I reacted badly to the procedure and suffered internal bleeding from the biopsy sites.

Am I being silly?
He had brochoscopy, Pet scan, another
bronchoscopy
and was referred to Papworth where he was told removal of lung was a curative option. Surgeon wanted to do exploratory first which he did, then two weeks later husband went in to have lung out.

Whole brain radiation?
An adenocarcinoma has been confirmed at
bronchoscopy
/biopsy, but unfortuately a CT scan has shown 2rys throughout both lungs, but more worryingly in his brain. The oncologist is also suspicious of a couple of area in Dad's spine - due MRI next week & if confirmed will irradiate these areas.
