Long Term Lung Problems.
On Friday 14th I’m having a
Bronchoscopy
on lungs. Does it hurt, do you get a general anas? I know a lot about liver disease as I have cirrhosis and metabolic syndrome. How do these many things interact and affect each other.

What We Did Right: Israeli Doctors Explain How They Beat the Coronavirus
They started doing additional tests, among them antibody (serological) tests as well as
bronchoscopy
tests, which involves the taking of fluid samples from the lungs.

I also have a diagnosis of mild TBM on CT - not confirmed on
bronchoscopy
but she says this maybe because If the collapse is in smaller bronchi it wouldn’t show on

Who,what, where?
Would the
bronchoscopy
help or make it worse? Of course trying to speak to consultants on the phone hasn’t been successful in the past, so I am not sure what is best.

My Dad
He is down to have a
bronchoscopy
this Thursday and surprisingly seems to be OK with the idea, but my Mum seems to think that it's a waste of time. Any treatment is palliative but will palliative treatment vary according to what cells they find in the biopsy?

Protocol; genetic testing
Would it be only after the results of a
bronchoscopy
, once there is a definite confirmation of cancer do you think?

Unresolved Pneumonia
I have now been referred for a
Bronchoscopy
, PET scan and Lung Biopsy and a Specialist Nurse will be contacting me on Monday. I am trying to remain positive but it is very difficult. I am interested in hearing from anyone who may have been through this or has had unresolved Pneumonia.

Winter bleeding
Pulmonologist said if I bleed every day, then I need to come in and maybe have a
bronchoscopy
. I do terribly with procedures and I really hope that doesn’t happen.

Can't get definitive diagnosis
I was sent to my pulmonologist who immediately did a
bronchoscopy
. I was then placed on a 5 week regimen of antibiotics and had another CT which shows the mass has grown. My pulmonologist believes it is cancer but can't get a specific diagnosis. I'm having another scope Monday.

Hey guys, Just a little update, I had my
Bronchoscopy

Pain after Bronchoscopy today
Just wondering if anyone who’s has this procedure has any pain afterwards. I had this done at 3pm this afternoon and about half an hour after I started to notice some pain in my right back when breathing, nurse said it’s just the medication. Every time I’m breathing in it hurts under my right ribs

Operation for bronchectasis??
My Dr has now suggested a
bronchoscopy
and mentioned surgery to move the left side damaged part of the lung. As the bronchectasis is clustered together this side would be worth considering my right lung is too spaced out .

Azithromycin for bronchiectasis
Ive just had my long awaited
