Cancerous thyroid nodules. Are they painful sometimes?
Id be really grateful for thoughts on this please. I'm awaiting surgery on a nodule that's suspicious for follicular cancer but obviously as we know, they can't be certain until its taken out. What i want to know is, has anyone had a painful nodule that can be really sore consistently (8 months now

Mum getting biopsy results tomorrow
Hi all, my beautiful mum is getting her biopsy results tomorrow (Friday) but has been told she has a tumour and there is potential spread to lymph nodes and that the plan will be chemotherapy and immunotherapy. She has had two x rays, a chest CT and bronchoscope/biopsies but no further tests just yet

Post triple therapy options?
This past summer, I wrote because my husband's PSA numbers started doubling very quickly. (see quick recap below) By the time we got the PSMA PET scan a few weeks later, there were too many tumors in the bones to count. We jumped into triple therapy: Eligard, Nubeqa, and chemo. Lupron Question.
I have been on Lupron since June 2022. September 2023 Abiraterone and 5mg of prednisone was added. Psa was 19 in Sept and dropped to 1.26 as of Jan. 11 2024. Approved additives and E-numbers (UK)

Note that the use of substances in foods is largely separate to their use in medicines. One example being Titanium dioxide which is now banned in foods in the EU and Northern

Gleason score change from 3+4 to 3+3 with perineural invasion noted under Active Surveillance
I recently had an MRI and PSA about 11 months into Active Surveillance. The MRI showed no change & PSA has moved from 4.2 to 3.6 to 3.1. While a rectal biopsy done 11 months ago showed one core of Gleason 7 (3+4), I just received results of an MRI guided Transperineal Biopsy. The encouraging news us

I have been considering trying 'Theraworx' for nocturnal leg cramps; it has many ingredients including vita. E though the E should be a small amount. Does anyone have any real knowledge if this product would effect PSA levels, or have any effect on the PCa...thank you

We could tell in advance if enzalutamide works on a patient: computational biology
hopefully it will be clinically tested soon ”For the study in Nature Communications, Mitrofanova's team developed computational algorithms to discover why the prostate cancer drug enzalutamide (sold under the brand name Xtandi) never works for some patients and why it eventually stops working in others
