DBS and immobility
For those of you who have had DBS surgery-- When I wake up in the morning, I can't move. It is a great effort to reach for the pill bottle. Everything is stiff including my hands. Will DBS help this?

Position of relief from foot dystonia
I am experiencing more off time with increasing foot cramping, bad enough to put me on my hands and knees. Serendipity strikes! I was so tired I crawled up to a couch and rested my upper body on it. Still on my knees I pressed the top of my foot into the carpet which shut down the cramp. This was

The INR Debate regarding APS

If the Bisoprolol is keeping AF under control Do I need Warfrin

haemorrhage
and induced stroke due to a further bleed during surgery at which point the internal carotid was embolised, but they where really not sure what to do, so they

Had DBS in July, No tremors but have taken a nose dive in other areas, anyone else have this experience?
What a gift with no tremors but now I'm experiencing what feels like some late stage symptoms. Typing this is very slow and difficult, my walk is shuffling with forward movement, almost falling lots. Slow and uncoordinated. Brain slow and difficult to coordinate, getting overwhelmed easilyl Handwriting

Viral Meningitis: Your Ideas
Hi Everyone We are just starting to put together our plans for the coming year. One area we are keen to focus on is viral meningitis. As many of you know, only too well, viral meningitis is often misunderstood by others. This is where we would really appreciate your ideas to help us plan our next steps

This post doesn't really mean anything
I've had a
brain
haemorrhage
, and that would be no big deal if I didn't have the capacity to care about it. I'm just sad at the moment, it isn't constructive, and there's nothing to be done. It's happened and it's nobody's fault. Just trying to wrap my head around that one at the moment.

Viral Menigitis
4 weeks ago my husband was diagnosed with viral meningitis. He is a very active guy and has always taken such good care of himself, he is an avid runner and just started competing in triathlons. We have a 19 month old beautiful baby girl and he is afraid of how much time he is going to miss out on

Dreaded Angiogram.
Before my
brain
haemorrhage
nothing really bothered me, I just got on with everything, but now I've got an angiogram Tuesday - i can't get it off my mind. I've never, ever, had trouble sleeping but I'm so anxious. Feel a bit stupid really!

DBS for bradykinesia
I am a non tremor bradykinestic type. My off periods are characterized by slowness and dystonia in my feet with anxiety. The neurologists thinks it's time for DBS. Does anyone have experience with similar symptoms?

DBS Surgery
Had DBS in July this year. Seen Dr. twice for tweaking of the electrical currant. So far it seems to be a trade off of symptoms. Controls tremors (a blessing) but now having trouble walking, some slurred speech, ridigity. All of these were in the backgroud and minimal before. Also having trouble
