Good afternoon, I hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine as much as possible. It really has helped my mood. I went to have my out patient appointment Friday, I think I miss understood the reason for the appointment. From what I gather it was to make sure that I was happy to go on the waiting list

Antibiotics
I had a tetanus jab and a course of antibiotics, 500mg 3 times a day. Which finished 17th September. I'm still experiencing wrist and hand pain, feeling fatigued also having muscular aches and pains in feet, knees and ankles. I have ordered a medichecks blood test and wonder should there be a gap

How was your experience of being diagnosed with a brain tumour?
'When I first experienced symptoms of my own I had many types of tests, scans and treatments but my tumour was able to stay hidden. In the seven years that followed however its side effects gradually increased and they became much more visible and more serious as well - not knowing what this condition

Shingles after the Pfizer vaccine?
Has anyone developed shingles after getting the Covid 19 vaccine? I had the Pfizer shot in March and I came down with shingles in September. I started researching and there are some studies showing that shingles could be a side effect. Just curious if anyone else has had shingles in the last 6 months

Focused ultrasound
I hear so much about PD patients receiving DBS, but I never hear about them opting for focussed ultrasound instead. According to this website, focused ultrasound will cure the motor symptoms of PD, but it would only be used on people with motor symptoms in one side of their body: https://www.fusfoundation.org
