Bit old fashioned...
I discovered that a castor oil pack really helps with knee pain. It's horrible sticky oil, but it works topically (for me at least). I have bad memories of this stuff from my childhood. Any hint of sickness and out came the bottle. I would not recommend injesting it! 🤮 it's better than the deep heat

RA and live flu vaccine
HiMy daughter has rung to say my 2 year old grandson has just had a live flu vaccine. She said the GP has said to avoid people with very compromised immune systems, eg. they said, having bone marrow transplants, for a week. She asked if it was safe for them to see me and was told they had no guidance

Disappointing news
I eat healthily and enjoy lots of veg, in fact I eat most foods recommended for
bone
health
. I was delighted when a further Dexa indicated improvement and Osteoporosis was now osteopenia. However, a recent Dexa has shown I have Osteoporosis again this time in my hip.

Flecainide, not curing PAF
I had PAF for five years flick and I stopped it every time. No it doesn’t after being in AF for three weeks they changed the dosage. I’m taking a low dose of flecainide every day and Apixaban. I’m hoping it will bring the sinus rhythm back but what happens if it doesn’t is an ablation something to think

Bad news
Hi all, as some of you know I had a successful heart transplant in July 2020 and so far all has been good, more trouble from the rest of the old body but on Friday I received the devastating news that I have bowel cancer. It was picked up through the routine testing another thing I have to thank the

waiting for a diagnosis
hi, I have just joined this forum and hope someone can reassure me. I have been having chest pains but put it down to indigestion until last week when it was worse. Update on getting Cialis re https://healthunlocked.com/advanced-prostate-cancer/posts/149573740/wife-seeking-input-regarding-rt
Thank you all! My husband now has tadalafil. I sent his Uro the research provided by Tall_Allen and others (also gave RO the same). He prescribed 5mg tadalafil. Seems nothing is easy anymore. Safeway was back-ordered on 5mg until late July, however, they had 10mg. Back to Uro for prescription for 10mg

Hello . I was diagnosed with mild to moderate MVR last November . No symptoms other than slight breathlessness . Yesterday on another echocardiogram I was informed I have AF - no symptoms at all . It has made me very anxious . Has anyone else experience of both ? I am 57 , very very fit , not overweight

My husband has been wearing his compression stocks for 7 weeks now after having had a triple heart bypass. They are driving him mad now and he wants to stop wearing them. How long should they be worn for? Appreciate any advice, please.
