Blood tests

All blood tests for Thyroid hormone levels have been normal all along which I find odd as I feel like I have symptoms of hypothyroid. I have been feeling awful for about 2 years - weak, breathless, exhausted, appetite decreased.

Doctor is more than happy to discontinue blood tests & apt’s every month & for me to monitor everything myself. I can call Doc if I need to. Having read on this forum how lots of you are working to your own tapering plans with support from Doctor I am really pleased to have this result.

My family Dr this past Friday sends me the blood tests results and says they cannot comment on them and they are referring to GI, one GI already declined referral My blood came back and Gastrin is at 854.

My GP started me on 25mg levothyroxine, after 3 months further blood tests requested by the endo team came back normal and so they stopped the levo. I was disappointed as I had started to see a little improvement in my symptoms.

I’ve recently had two blood tests, one on 11th April with a TSH of 8 (abnormal) but T4 of 22 (so still just normal but top of the range). Then another blood test 28th June also with higher TSH of 11 and T4 high but normal at 21.

My GP has never shown a concern with it I have basically had to beg her for more blood tests after my last miscarriage, never had a face to face appointment just sends me for blood test then I read the results online...

My current clinic also dont believe in blood tests, other than AMH.

However, the same chromosomal issues came up in 4 out of the 6 abnormal embryos so we have been recommended to have karotyping blood tests to see if either one of us is a carrier of the chromosomal issues and has a balanced translocation which could cause issues in the embryos that were normal.

I've been advised I have abnormal (higher than it should be) TSH following 2 blood tests done over the last 12 weeks . The comment from the GP so far is to do nothing apart from wait 1 year and have another blood test.

Recently I had various sets of blood tests done and noticed the other day on the results.the term AK1 .Not knowing what this is confused me when searching for description explanation.

She referred me down the two week wait route for an urgent ultrasound, she also ordered blood tests including CA125. I did the bloods and my CA125 is elevated at 42 (so not really high but it is higher than normal range).

I asked her to get a copy of her last couple of years of blood tests and guess what, from the levels not one time was she over medicated. Her Tsh that her gp likes to dose by has been in range constantly and the last 2 blood tests showed she was undermedicated.

Here are my most recent blood tests and I'd be grateful for any input regarding what I should do now, ie. continue for a few more weeks on this dose or increase?

just had private blood tests tpo 215 IU/mL

Began taper, had blood tests then received a call from GP to say ESR had gone up to 33 so “confirming” I had PMR again so steroids back up, been tapering since. Saw Rheumatologist 28/12.

My GP rang to review my blood tests. All were normal apart from an elevated GGT. It has been elevated for a long time which is why I was referred for a Fibroscan and this scan showed Cirrhosis (17kpa).

The recovery seems to have peaked in October but then its gone down on each of the subsequent blood tests. The doc says that maybe its because it is warmer in Summer/Fall than now.

If this does not clear up within a week they going to take me in for blood tests 😁

Doctor also did iron blood tests. These are my results as per lab printout: IRON: 12umol/L, Ferritin: 210 ug/L, Transferrin: 1.75 g/L, Iron saturation 29%. This is my question: It appears that my Ferritin levels are fine but my Transferrin level is low.
