Covid Jabs
Does being hypothyroid and asthmatic qualify anyone aged 60 for a Covid jab this winter, does anyone know? Receptionist at my surgery has just told me not. Although they want me to have a flu jab! I can't figure that out at all... And what do you guys think about having one anyway? I've had three

Covid Jab. Know ur NHS NUMBER to book
I got a message from the NHS inviting me to book an appointment for my covid jab. I did it all via the NHS app & it's stress free & took all of a minute. Infact the hardest question was what accessibility needs I require at the pharmacy & they give you a list of 5 & book at your nearest one. Once you've

Covid jab whilst in AF?
Hi all I am due to have my Covid booster this afternoon and have had all the others with no issues at all. However I started in AF at 10pm last night and despite an increase in my Flec dose to 100mg and 2.5mg of Bisoprolol the AF is continuing at the moment. Episodes often last around 12 hours for

Tattoo /steroids
My rheumatologist mentioned I might need steroid injections into my feet/toes specifically (guided by ultrasound). I have a large foot tattoo (well, I have fairly small feet but tattoo is across a fairly large proportion). She said they'd inject just beside it. I'm quite anxious about damaging my tattoo

I was diagnosed with lupus in March this year. I dont know if I should take the flu and covid vaccine. I am scared it will make my lupus worse. Has anyone here take the vaccine?

The more symptoms the better? Covid-19 vaccine side effects and long-term neutralizing antibody
I've just read the extensive discussion about post-vaccination side effects initiated by Sharastani "After COVID vaccination, when do ‘side effects’ become an ‘adverse reaction’?" https://healthunlocked.com/cllsupport/posts/150070059/ Having read the discussion, I feel compelled to share with you

PSMA PET Scan Question
I heard on a PCa support group call, from a retired MD, that if your PSA is below 0.1 a PSMA PET scan isn’t useful because it requires a certain level of the PSA to find metastases. Does anyone know if that’s true or is it more of a wives tale or just anecdotal? Thanks!

Covid or Asthma
So I recently had Covid and tested negative on Friday, I didn't feel particularly ill throughout my week with Covid apart from complete and utter exhaustion and some ear/ sinus infection which turned out to be a nasty ear infection. I've got this nasty chesty cough and yesterday and today I've been slightly

Feeling Cold
Does anyone feel really cold with AF? My partner says he feels cold all the time when he always used to be rather than me.

mucus plugs (plastic bronchitis)
Hi, sorry for gross question but... A long story short: I was in hospital for a severe asthma flare up in September for 12 days (when I was first diagnosed). I was on oxygen and not improving. They gave me a lot of saline and salbutamol nebs. What eventually worked for me was that I coughed up a lot

Liver and gall bladder
Hello ladies, I am currently experiencing a lot of pain on the right side of my torso, front and back. I have tumours ontop and inside of my liver but they are shrinking with weekly chemotherapy. Docs think pain could be pressure on a nerve or gall stones. Apparently gall stones can be caused by chemotherapy

After COVID vaccination, when do ‘side effects’ become an ‘adverse reaction’?
Hi I just had my regular seasonal COVID vaccination and with my previous 3 vaccinations my side effects have been awful. I purposely book them for a Friday as I know I will be out of action all weekend and I do not have to miss work every time. The effects are headaches, fever, nausea and basic pain

covid recovery
hi all, Hubby had cold symptoms last week and tested positive, I felt ok at the time but had a faint line. Roll on 6 days I’ve had the all over aches, hot and cold sweats, pain in my throat, unbelievable sneezing and runny nose, a bit of a cough but not much. Most of that has gone except for that familiar
