Terratoma with a neuroendocrine tumour stage 1 3c, anybody
I think I might be clutching at straws here, anybody have anything similar. Apparently it's rare as hens teeth.I had a 5 kilo terratoma removed, it was on my left ovary. Also my appendix, left ovary and omentum along with 7 litres of fluid. No chemo as they were happy with everything. This all happened

New but familiar
Hello, I was diagnosed with IBS in 2018. My symptoms were abdominal pain with diarrhea which turned into constipation. Started the low fodmap diet in 2021, and stopped eating gluten, and cut out sugar. My symptoms improved until recently. Now I'm having daily abdominal pain and I'm not passing as much

A lightbulb moment
I am currently taking 10mg immediate release Shortec Oxycodone at 6pm, 10pm and again when I need to during the early hours. I manage to get broken sleep which usually equates to 4 hours, which is better than I have had in the past. This works reasonably well, however, from early afternoon my arms

my ear infection healed but my tinnitus hasn’t
I had an outer ear infection this month that inflamed and blocked my ear canal, causing tinnitus. I took optomize and the infection went away, but the tinnitus stayed. The doctor examined my ears again and said they were fine, even though I still have tinnitus and sometimes itchiness. My ears are also

Bisacodyl
Taken Senna, Fybogel and Laxido and haven’t had any bowel movements. I’ve seen people say to take Bisacodyl as this is quite strong. What are people’s experiences with this? Does it work? When is the best time to take it?

Stomach cramps
Hi lovely ladies! My mum is 6 weeks post primary debulking surgery, and bowel resection and is still having some bowel issues. She's had pretty bad stomach cramping all day today. Is this normal? Does anyone have any tips? She's still on laxatives and drinking peppermint tea for gas. Would love to hear

Diverticulitis
Just been diagnosed with diverticulitis after colonoscopy, luckily no cancer found. Unfortunately I’m having to wear pads as I am experiencing “leaking” after a bowel movement. Any help with diet or tips, I would appreciate, as I am reluctant to take Loperamide on a regular basis.

Breakthrough with the cause of IBD - may lead to similar discoveries with other autoimmune diseases?
Just spotted this on my BBC News notifications. BBC News - Major cause of inflammatory bowel disease found https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c1wwdd6v2wjo It's written in layman's language, but seems to say they have found that there is a genetic link and that they have drugs already that might treat

Managing Pudendal Neuralgia pain
Hi all, I joined this forum to remain on top of developments around the complex pelvic floor issues affecting women and to seek support from others. In my experience these are generally poorly understood by doctors in the UK especially at consultant level and there is an absence of multi agency support

Confusion after hearing test
Hi folks, just wondered if I can get some opinions please? I was thinking my tinnitus which is a mild high pitched ringing mostly in my right ear, was caused by noise damage/hearing loss. I've had a couple of decades of being a working musician in bands, but the last 10 years or so have been performing

Flare up or just Fatigue?
I have tapered to 7.5 mg this month using Dorset Lady's table, but in the last few days I have pains around the hips which is only relieved by sitting down. I wake up around 4.30 a.m. and so have several spells of faitigue/deep sleeps in the early evening. When I am out I lean against counters
