Supplements now treatment is over
I started my treatments in December 2021 for APC with multiple mets to the skeleton and stopped taking all supplements per MO advice as I was starting early Lu-177. After a combination of Degarelix, 3x Lu-177, 3 x Docetaxel my PSA was 98% reduced to 0.19 and scans showed a strong response but some activity

Killing PCa cells in the vortex/ waterfall ?
Fact: Your blood circulates thru you heart every 5 minutes. Fact: Men who exercise vigorously live longer with PCa then those who don’t exercise. All other things being equal ie: PSA, GS scores etc. Fact?/speculation: I read somewhere that cancer cells are often killed when they go over the waterfall

Surgery and nerve problems
Has anyone experienced nerve problems soon after surgery. I had my gallbladder out almost three years ago, and it has been suggested to me that my problems could be due to nerve damage.

Prazosin - Trial of One (Me)
To my surprise my urologist readily prescribed Prazosin to replace Tamsulosin, after reading the retrospective study that Bruce SF supplied me with and I forwarded to my Doc with my request to change drugs. As a trader I always look at risk and reward, this one seems to be a no-brainer, very little

Prazosin - Game Changer?

EXPERIENCES WITH DESOGESTREL????
Hello, I’ve just been put on desogestrel after having endo removed laparoscopically with the doctor hoping that it will completely stop my bleeding due to excessively heavy bleeding which we haven’t yet manage to control successfully. I’m 18 so things like ablation/hysterectomy isn’t really appropriate

Don't take Tylenol (acetaminophen or paracetamol) if you are using any kind of immunotherapy
It may increase regulatory T cells and PD-1 expression, which stop immunotherapies from working. It also changes the enzymes responsible for drug metabolism, and may cause drug-drug interactions (also a reason to avoid supplements when taking other medicines). https://ascopubs.org/doi/abs/10.1200/JCO

New research article about cancer DNA damage repair.
It’s a genetic disease, and as such, understanding DNA repair mechanisms is critical to figuring out how cancer develops and how to prevent and treat it. While “DNA repair” may sound like an exclusively good thing, it actually isn’t. This is because the leading anti-cancer therapies, ionizing radiation

Radiation Cystitis
I developed radiation cystitis back in January. My Urologist treated one area of concern, but had recommended I receive hyperbaric oxygen treatment. I am in the process of starting that treatment. As one of the treatment effects is angiogenesis, I was wondering what your opinions were related to
