My Urologist treated one area of concern, but had recommended I receive hyperbaric oxygen treatment.
I am in the process of starting that treatment.
As one of the treatment effects is angiogenesis, I was wondering what your opinions were related to that.
I have been undetectable since February 2020.
Does anyone happen know if there is increase risk of perhaps cells that may be in senescence starting to regrow?
Should I be doing a PSA more frequently during treatment?
My apologies. I know these are probably some extremely esoteric questions, but I was just curious if anyone might have any opinions, thoughts or additional questions I might ask.
Thank you for your time.

Thank you very kindly. I know we always read things about angiogenesis and cancer. I have always read that angiogenesis plays a critical role in the growth of cancer because solid tumors need a blood supply if they are to grow beyond a few millimeters in size. I have also read that tumors can actually cause this blood supply to form by giving off chemical signals that stimulate angiogenesis. So when I first was told about hyperbaric oxygen therapy and angiogenesis was noted as the primary reason for healing my radar went off. Thank you very kindly for you timely response.
I am one of the guys on this site who had good results with HBO treatments. I first developed radiation cystitis a year or so after prostate radiation treatment, and 9 years after my prostate was removed. I went through 40 treatments, 5 days a week, then returned for 20 more treatments, and declared myself cured of the cystitis (perhaps strange but the attending physician, indicated s that he would not pronounce me as cured, but rather I had to tell him if I was cured - great doctor though). Back when I had the HBO treatments (2020-2021), I believe that Medicare only paid for 60 treatments over 12 months. My cancer persevered after both my surgery and radiation. I had a recurrence of urinary bleeding following 2022 lower back surgery and at that time underwent a cystoscopy and cauterization (i.e. more surgery) with my urologist. Very successful (almost instantly). I have been on Lupron for almost three years, with undetectable PSA.
