Have I got IBS?
I’m searching for answers as my GP won’t comment until
biopsy
results are back. I was just wondering if these are common symptoms of IBS? Thank you for reading!

good news I think…
She did take a uterine
biopsy
(ouch) and will follow up with another Ca125 in 3 months. Another gynaecologist appointment in 6 months.

Resolved NAFLD / NASH in 6 months!
Advised
biopsy
was not required but a repeat Fibroscan was worthwhile. Upon re-doing, although was still high, the score was significantly lower at 12.5 / 386 and now regarded as F3 and below the Cirrhosis cut-off.

Has anyone used antibiotics for FET?
I've not had a
biopsy
because our clinic doesn't recommend this but they have suggested these antibiotics as there aren't any known risks and some women have had success. Has anyone used antibiotics and do you think it's made any difference?

Liver Biopsy Update
Here's a copy/paste of the
biopsy
report: liver
biopsy
, - Hepatic parenchyma of nodular architecture showing established cirrhosis. The portal spaces trapped in these nodules show a moderate inflammatory infiltrate, predominantly lymphoplasmacytic, without portal necrosis.

Is there anyone out there who's gone through this before??? Please help...
This is my second time posting on here, but my first post since my liver
biopsy
. They took five pieces of my liver from different parts and there was no disease or fibrosis found.

Now found new dentist who has requested an appointment for me at a dental hospital I suppose for yet another
biopsy
. I went to my doctor and was prescribed Fluconazole and Flutisone to use as a mouth wash.

Continuing AS?
The first
biopsy
was negative but only 8 cores, then GS3+3 0.6mm 4 years ago, then 3 years ago it was GS3+3 in 3 cores 1mm, 2mm, and 3mm. PSA 1.6-3 up and down (down mainly after
biopsy
surprisingly).

My 12 month Journey on Active Surveillance
He then suggested a
biopsy
. Results found from 16 core
biopsy
- Left base 3+3, Right TZ 3+3 and Left TZ 3+3. Pathologic stage T2c. Gleason 6 – Grade 1 cancer. As with all of us when being told you have cancer is a major sock and my mind wasn’t with it, so I was in disbelief.

What's wrong with me?
My problem is I'm triple ney, had bone marrow
biopsy
which did not indicate an MPL, however I was expecting to be discharged from haematologist but at my appointment he's said "it's not that simple."

Scalp pain and strange sensations
I have been having extremely sensitive scalp issues for such a long time, had visits to dermatologist and had a
biopsy
which didn’t show anything and concluded it was a dysesthesia (an abnormal sensation of the scalp).

concerning CT scan
This was my follow up scan - my MD (who I love) said that he wasn't concerned and the radiologist noted "
no change since last year's scan but recommended close follow up or
"! He was upset that he noted no change but then recommended close follow up or
biopsy
.

I could use some advice in Tennessee
I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2017 - Gleason 6 - Active Surveillance - Remained same until July 2022 when PSA jumped over 4 again. In July, showing Gleason 7 in 10 of 12 biopsies. MRI in December including prostate and pelvic floor shows contained in the prostate with no external lesions.

New Diagnostic Tool
Diagnosis of pustular skin disorders (PSD) without
biopsy
. "The new LC‐OCT can represent a rapid, non‐invasive and painless tool which can help differentiating among PSD of different aetiology and microscopic morphology in clinical mimickers in daily practice."

Would you request a
biopsy
? I feel like they’ve dropped a bomb and told me to get on with it and I have a ton of questions that I would like to have asked. I have cut out all processed food, am vegan and don’t drink - is there anything else I should be doing?

struggling with getting a diagnosis GCA
Unfortunately as my
biopsy
was negative, I was discharged from the medical team at the hospital, and told to rapid wean of the steroids, and within 6 days and a 2x5 mg drop, I was at my wits end with lack of sleep due to the appalling chest pounding.
