Worried about persistent HPV
The consultant did his best to reassure me, took a
biopsy
and treated the lesion with silver nitrate. My GP was able to access the result before I'd received the letter. He told me that they'd probably have to repeat the
biopsy
because the results were inconclusive.

Lymphoma or unconnected New Tumour.
I am still waiting on a '
Biopsy
' date, followed by the three week wait for results. After which I will know better, where I stand. I have received my recent Bloods from my new Haemo team, and it seems to me that there has indeed been a surge, within in a short period time.

So much pelvic pain, any advice?
I've already done: * All types of gynae assessments from a scan, to PAP and other tests, to colposcopy to a
biopsy
. I've seen top gynaes and they said it's unlikely to be gynae related. Normal period. Laparoscopy has not been done, I'm too anxious to have it.

How bad are these PSMA Pet Scan Results?
My second post. Just got my PSMA results back. 48 years old. PSA is 100. 12 Biopsies all show cancer. Mostly 4+3's two of them 4+4's.What do you think ? My appointment with MO is not till Wednesday. What do think he will offer as treatment method ? I'm just worried and concerned.

GFR & Creatinine
increased massively and now my medications have been reduced, the night sweats have somewhat subsided, the only problem Is my GFR is only at 20 and creatinine is 270, I know it takes a while to level out and they have reduced my tacrolimus so think my level was to high and caused toxicity, I've also had a

I need help with my attitude
I am waiting for liver
biopsy
to come back. I have been off of all meds for 2 weeks. My ascites has come roaring back. It’s super uncomfortable and I’m just so angry and starting to get depressed. Today I had 7 pounds of fluid drained from my stomach. It’s already coming back. 🙄.

Had lung
biopsy
earlier , the greedy sods took 8 slices. They let me watch on the screen but I lasted a minute and drifted off to sleepy land.

I get episodes where I can't swallow very well, which led to a gastroscopy showing eosiniphilic oesophagitis and chonic gastritis on
biopsy
. I get periods of abdominal pain and have gained lots of weight that I cannot shift since becoming ill.

On AS and not sure if I need another Biopsy
I was after some advice what people’s thoughts were if I needed to have another
biopsy
? My PSA has come down since being diagnosed 3.2 to 1.9, Free is at 21.1. I had a PHI test which was 27.2 (Medium risk) and my Testosterone was 37.7, slightly on the high side. I have attached my last MRI.

The eternal supplement conundrum!
Hi all, hope all doing well and all optimistic going into 2024 - and/or grateful for what we’re leaving behind. I’m reviewing our supplements going into ‘24 as a friend of a similar age is on so many I think she must rattle! She is on her IVF journey ahead of me so getting all the advice she can -

Newly diagnosed GPA without renal involvement. Sorry it’s long.
I don’t need a
biopsy
. He said I may never have had PMR, or that I may have had PMR and the vasculitis brewing at the same time. He said I’m lucky — my illness is systemic but right now non-severe.

“Non-celiac wheat sensitivity: rationality and irrationality of a gluten-free diet…”
As the above article shows there are ways to define based on gut
biopsy
findings. Diagnosing Coeliac Disease in itself is by intestinal
biopsy
as the standard sets out.

The association between serum lipid profile and the prostate cancer risk and aggressiveness
"Men who underwent prostate
biopsy
between January 2005 and December 2015 were retrospectively analyzed. The association between lipid profile and the risk, stage, and Gleason grade group (GG) of the PC were investigated." "Of the 1740 study populations, 720 men (41.4%) were diagnosed as PC."
