Thin with NAFLD - treatment successes?
I was diagnosed with NAFLD through blood tests and
biopsy
in 2021. A result of low enzyme production from not having a pancreas, bile duct or gallbladder (whipple surgery for pancreatic tumor). I’m 56 yrs old, 5’7” and 120 lbs. I have always exercised and eaten healthy.

Awful chronic nausea
They also took a
biopsy
of a polyps. Looking theses condition up, they all link them to not just the nausea but also acid reflux and heartburn, neither of which I have.

Implantation Issues
We have now been advised to go back to 5.5 days progesterone ( this worries me as my last
biopsy
suggested 7 days) and to try Granocyte injections. I’m so nervous to try again. Has anyone been through this or have any advice? Thank you 😊

Update on skin lesions
He did a
biopsy
but it was not in the first 24 hours so the results were not definitive. He increased my prednisone to 40 mg for four days and the lesions healed leaving behind some patches of purporae.

How was your Ovarian cancer diagnosed?
Surely they need to do a
biopsy
or an MRI? So my question is, what was the very first point at which suspected ovarian cancer arose for you, and what diagnostics were user to get a definitive diagnosis? I feel like they're fobbing me off to be honest.

Never ending balanitis and lichen sclerosus
I had this circumcision 30 days ago, and the
biopsy
result was lichen sclerosus. The surgeon said "It was lichen sclerosus, now it is not."

Intermediate favorable vs. unfavorable Gleason 7 acc.to 2 doctors + CLEAN PSMA, do we need third opinion +where? (Green Bay/Milwaukee areas)
Anyways, he was given a random
biopsy
without MRI which I now understand to be somewhat sub-standard care these days??? (which does make me wonder about this practice, should I??) and cancer was found.

MRI guided Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT) for favorable intermediate recurrence?
One year later, left side clean in MRI and
biopsy
. However, right side determined to have 2 cores with 3+4, and 4+3. Regraded through Johns Hopkins (thanks to reading here) down to both 3+4 with significantly less pattern 4 in both cores.

I have questions about Tamoxifen, aka Hormonal Therapy
My 2nd opinion Oncologist
Four Options
: 1) Do nothing, take a break...Which I am going to do for 2 months at least. 2) Do a
biopsy
, but currently I show no signs of recurrence. 3) Do Chemotherapy 4) Do Hormonal Therapy, aka Tamoxifen.

Back in permanent AF and warfarin dose decrease
I had huge delays and postponements before I had a
biopsy
. I eventually got the results 5 weeks later (rather than the two weeks promised) - I assumed this was because it was a low risk pussy cat.

Biopsy update
Hi I don't know if any of you remember that a few weeks ago I had a
biopsy
done for skin cancer. Today got my results back and it is all clear. I just had that feeling that I didn't have it, but It did mean that I got rid of the mole and wart growing on it.

Marginal zone lymphoma
I was with every team available, pet scan took place, guided lung biopsies etc, attempted kidney
biopsy
. I refused steroids as I listen to my gut instinct, but was started on mycophenolate.

has anyone had a biopsy on endometrium without being out to sleep?
hi my doctor told me to come in to his office and he would take a sample of my endometrium whilst awake. Apparently it’s normal but I’m terrified of the pain. Has anyone done it?

MRI-guided transperineal biopsy hurt so much
I'm curious if folks have recommendations about how to reduce what was an unbearable pain from the
biopsy
. I almost passed out and the thought of my next
biopsy
gives me cold sweats. What hurt was the process of the anesthetic injections. Each one at a deeper layer.

POST 6 CAR-T cell therapy
My expectation attending Clinic in August was to receive the results of my bone marrow
biopsy
and to check that I was still tolerating Acalabrutinib, perhaps with a view to another BM in a few months time.

A
biopsy
seems to confirm I'm negative for cancer for the second time this year ... Beer, plaice and chips, and now a little |Floyd to see off the stress. Its been a week my brother would describe as "sh_t with egg on". I never know what he means by that, but hey, taking it ....

I had a lymph node
biopsy
that showed "Metastatic poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma with signet ring cell features consistent with pulmonary primary" I have not yet had a PET scan or MRI to see the spread if the cancer.
