Reevaluation for Diagnosis
Next step is
biopsy
, which I’ve read can sometimes be negative. We do not have anyone in area that does the ultrasound (although, I’m going to do some research). Do you think it’s worth the risks to have
biopsy
done? Im thinking he will still probably keep me on the high dose of prednisone.

Post PV Myelofibrosis - One Year Update
PV diagnosis - 2010Post-PV MF diagnosis - 2022 Last year after plummeting blood counts and a bone marrow
biopsy
, I was diagnosed with post PV MF. I was taken off Besremi and got bimonthly CBCs. I had no other symptoms.

Looking for advice for my newly diagnosed dad
He’s had a
biopsy
which showed Gleason 4 +5 and his PSA in hospital was 54.7. So far he’s had hormone tablets for 28 days and a 3 monthly hormone shot. The oncologist first appointment gave him the option of apalutamide or doxetal with daralutamide .

My father never had a prostate
biopsy
and at this point doesn't want one as he says too much could go wrong with that. His primary care doctor put him on Tamsulosin HCL .4 MG about six months ago and doubled it about two months ago.

Liver tumor
Next week different consultant are going to discuss my case and will decide whether a
biopsy
is need and will hear their decision in 18 days! Meanwhile, I have checked my blood results and saw that my alpha fetiprotein is elevated ( it is 9.1 ku/l while the range is up to 5.8 ku/l.)

have you had trouble getting approved for stem cell transplant?
I was diagnosed with ET and told to watch and wait and that I had no need for a bone marrow
biopsy
. I received a second opinion as a result because I believe my symptoms don’t match what I was diagnosed with. After some convincing we did the
biopsy
and discovered early stage fibrosis.

portal vein pressure test
I havent posted for a few weeks . my partner Nick has now had all his tests, scans and a
biopsy
on his hhc tumor to confirm that it is actually HCC. He has been told that he cannot have ablation, which is what he wanted to have, because of the position of the tumor.

Preparing for my Urologist Appointment re Increased PSA -- Including possible biopsy questions
(If I retake the PSA very shortly, possibly as part of a 4K score test, and it is back down to the 4.4 where it was 8 months ago, maybe it would be worth delaying the
biopsy
, but my gut feeling is to get the
biopsy
done as soon as possible regardless. Any thoughts would be welcome.)

Indeterminate liver lesion
Do I do a
biopsy
? Straight to surgery? My liver specialist says I can choose which route I'd like to go but I'm lost. I would love some help and guidance, thank you. I'm just 37 years old very healthy, no symptoms, have 3 kids and I am so worried!

Criteria to treat CLL
I had a liver
biopsy
a couple of years ago for the purposes of seeing if I had auto immune hepatitis (my mother has this). There was no evidence of that, but CLL was found in my liver, but I imagine that'd be normal if you have CLL.

Feeling fed up
Second time seeing specialist and apart from signs in liver
biopsy
pointing to AIH the scans don’t seem to show much. Don’t seem to get told much by Specialist and don’t seem to keep me updated.

BCG - intravesical immunotherapy - Update.
For the first time since my diagnosis, i do not know the findings of a
biopsy
. The good new is if I am allowed BCG treatment it would suggest, even though my BC is high grade, this time it has been held - This on the face of it, good news.

First post….hi!
Sent for PET Scan and bronchoscope….took
biopsy
of lymph nodes. hospital phoned to say
biopsy
inconclusive….so will need a CT Guided
biopsy
which they will take from the nodule/mass. Waiting for appointment for this!! I still have rib pain but on left so is this relevant.

Tubular Adenomas
Polyp
biopsy
came back saying tubular adenoma. How concerned should I be? I suspect the results are much better than Cancer, but honestly, I've never even heard of adenomas before. Are they usually removed during the colonoscopy or will I now need some type of surgery, or ?
