Biotin and Lab Results
There have been a lot of questions about supplements, including Biotin. This article from the FDA mentions something about this issue and I felt it worthwhile enough to post it here for those who take Biotin and some considering it. Hope it helps. https://labtestsonline.org/news/fda-warns-biotin-may-affect-some-lab-test-results

Hi All, I have an under active thyroid and take 125mg of Levothyroxine per day. I also have a Hiatal Hernia and take 40mg of Pantaprazole per day. I have recently started taking supplements to help with these things, but also to help with my general health. I have been taking 2 x 2000mg of Omega-3 fish

Encouragement for those who suffer hairloss
I just wanted to offer my experience of hair loss with severe primary hypothyroidism. I was so upset back in November when I was diagnosed. My hair had fallen out all along my hairline but following the advice of my endocrinologist I bore with my dosage of 125mcg Levothyroxine (first thing in morning

Hi, I’m Teddie, and I was 53 years old and post menopausal when I was diagnosed with bone mets in Dec 2017 (x2 hotspots in pelvis – left iliac bone, and left inferior pubic ramus). I turned 54 years young this January, and had my first normal mammogram at the age of 50. I was devastated when told

He is so impressed with how Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) has helped those patients that he started up an LDN program to educate the community on it. He utilizes his deep knowledge to assist doctors

Could the NAD+ precursor, Niagen, be the best supplement ever?
I was dancing around this topic because I guess I thought people would read my links and understand what I was trying to say, but recent conversations online have made me realize people are not grasping the amount of growing evidence that shows improving NAD+ levels may be the single best neuroprotective

Coming Off Statins - Update - December 22, 2017
I'm writing this in February about my last blood test a couple of months ago. I'm always experimenting with my diet to assess its impact on my blood bio-markers. Most recently, prior to my December blood test, I started having 4 squares daily of 70% cocoa dark chocolate (Lindt). For the first time, I
