T3 too High? Follow up.
Not sure if this is the correct place on the forum to put this... Thank-you so very much to everyone for your responses and apologies for the gap but I've been struggling with insomnia for many months and sleep deprivation means it's hard to know which way is up! No trouble falling asleep but I wake

new results help please
Hello, I have some new results from the lab. I had to reduce my Levo from 88mcg to 75mcg and have been taking T3. At the time of this test I was on 75mcg of Levo and 12.5mcg of T3. I took 2.5mcg about 10 - 12 hour prior to the test at 830am fasting and stopped any supplements with Biotin 7 days prior

Just double checking, am I ok to take BetterYou B12 up to thyroid blood test? Just not B vits?
I’m pretty sure this doesn’t contain Biotin but just don’t want to mess up!

Is taking NAC, vitamin d, coq 10, magnesium theonate, & niacin a dangerous combination for someone with orthostatic bp ?
I took them with dinner tonight, and nearly collapsed upon getting up to clear the dishes while experiencing an extreme niacin flush.

Chronic Shingles & Hashi/Hypo
Anyone else get Shingles everytime their TSH rises due to Hashi’s & it’s time for an increase in Levo.mg’s? This has been my pattern for a year now. First round was face/neck second was armpits. Both times bilateral. Shingles vaccine has not been an option for me because I can’t go long enough in between

Hydrocephalus post Cranioplasty
Hi, my daughter had a brain injury last year. She had a craniectomy and had a cranioplasty in October. For the last month or so, she has woken with a severe headache several times. Twice in the last week. Plus in the last month she’s started with balance problems. She looses her balance when walking

Links to some articles comparing FUS to DBS for Essential Tremors
For the time being, there's more research and development in the ET field than the PD field as it relates to tremor dominant Parkinson's. Here's a few links that compares the two. https://www.neurologyreviews-digital.com/neurologyreviews/nr_march_2019_/MobilePagedArticle.action?articleId=1470923

Niacin and Butyrate: Nutraceuticals Targeting Dysbiosis and Intestinal Permeability in Parkinson’s Disease
Niacin PD patients are found to have significantly decreased niacin levels compared to age-matched healthy controls [52]. This has been attributed to both the disease itself and the medication used to attenuate motor symptoms [58]. Sinemet, the most commonly used PD medication, includes carbidopa, which

Titration of Levo halted at 75mg because TSH is 0.09 in recent blood test
I started Levo 50 in January but only got up to 75mg in October. I just had my most recent blood test result - TSH only - and as it’s 0.09 they want me to reduce rather than increase Levo. I asked for the FT4 result, which they haven’t got, and they’ve agreed to ask the lab for that (10 days later?)

Please make it stop
I am new to this level of anxiety. It has completely debilitated me. I need help but can't afford anything, even with insurance. On the surface, it looks irrational but I can't control it no matter what I do. I meditate, breath, exercise and try to take care of myself. I have new medications that

Anxious
Feeling a bit nervous today, I’ve an appointment for a MRI scan , I’ve got a meningioma ( a benign tumour on the lining of the brain near the pituitary ) I’ve had it since childhood and it’s caused a few problems. I had a scan last year and it’s grown so they want to do another to see if it’s grown anymore

Thyroid test and biotin
I am having thyroid test on 30 Dec. I am taking vitamin supplements Perfectil, not B complex which contain some biotin. Do I need to stop these or is it just B complex type? Thank you 🙏
