Hair loss
Has anyone experienced hair loss? I'm taking Tacrolimus 3x daily at 1mg each and am losing a lot of hair especially in the top. I have been taking biotin since before my Transplant six months ago. Lambdapil hair lotion was recommended by my Dermatologist but could not get a clear answer from my Transplant

Hair Loss - Ferritin Results
Help!!!! I've recently had blood tests to try and get to the bottom of my ongoing hair loss. My results have come back this morning and my ferritin levels are 24ng/ml (15-150) and I'm convinced this is the problem but my doctor is really unhelpful. He said that as my iron levels are ok he wouldn't advise

To The Health Healers
Hi, I first posted on here back in August last year. I'd been suffering for years with exhaustion & resultant depression and it was only a chance meeting with a lady who had similar symptoms that led me here. I've since received a lot of advice, most good, which has helped me greatly. Thanks to SlowDragon

One blood draw - two different FT4 results
At my recent blood test at the GP surgery the nurse obligingly filled my vial for me to send back to Monitor My health. So one early morning fasting blood draw went to two different labs but the ranges are the same: TSH 0.14 (0.27-4.20) both labs FT3 4.6 (3.1-6.8) 40.5% Monitor my health FT4 15.9

Can we prevent, slow or halt, improve symptoms and reduce the severity of Parkinson's?

Restless legs & more are back
Hi, I have been ordering finger prick tests from UK for thyroid (as I am forced to buy OTC glandulars from internet), & as I was cutting down on Tiromel which is running out & unobtainable, I was surprised to note that I was doing well, at least on paper. Then I saw that I could obtain the active B12

DBS for Parkinsons
Need a little info on the DBS surgery for Parkinson’s. Doc says our daughter has reached the limit for the Sinemet dosage and is beginning g to show signs of needing more help. The only thing left is DBS. She’s not worried about the actual surgery but the cost since her insurance won’t cover very much

Vaccination - How did it affect you?
I had my vaccination on Friday evening - as I am an NHS volunteer. They say you might get symptoms 24 to 48 hour later. I had virtually no local discomfort in my arm. I felt a little un-energetic 18 hours in. 22 to 26 hours in I had a migraine-ish headache, tight chest, sore neck, palpitations aching
