Working full-time with a DBS
DBS Deep Brain Stimulation. 1) Are there any warriors who have received DBS and are still employed full-time? 2) Are there any IT/computers warriors who have received DBS and are still working? Just wondering if that's humanly possible. Thank you for your time.

Jaw and Shoulder Pain
Did anyone have jaw and/or shoulder pain that was eventually relieved once they found their sweetspot? I am 24 days on 100mcg T4 and 5mcg T3. I have the jaw and shoulder pain, plus still very tired. I think the brain fog is somewhat better. It is hard to sort out brain fog and fatigue at times. I can

OFF time but so much more!
I learned so much about our disease through this video. It was about OFF time but through that lens I learned out about the medications prescribed to us. There is a clear description of the different DBS devices available. This guy made my neurologist look like an amateur. https://youtu.be/TunPzh2Lw3U

Stopping Azilect to change to Macuna? I need help.
Dopamine agonists worsen RLS over time (proven) and I believe in my case may have caused it. Finding this out has changed my opinion of Azilect. I was hopeful it might be Neuroprotective because of it being a Mao-B inhibitor but, it’s causing worsened RLS is the antithesis of Neuroprotective. (On a

Vitamin test results
Hi All I was wondering if I could have some advice on my vitamin test results. I had the test done through Monitor my Health, so no ranges are given, just a graph. I can't access the graphs if I login to MMH on my mobile, and can't work out how to copy the graph on my laptop so I can share it here

I have Graves' Disease, was diagnosed in April 2022. I started on carbimazole, and by the end of May/beginning of June last year, I was feeling much better. I started to feel unwell again by September (fatigue, breathlessness, cramp in my feet, muscle aches and pains, heavy eyes, gritty eyes ...)

Do I Stop B12 & D3/K2 before MediCheck Advanced Thyroid Test?
Hi, sorry if this has been answered previously but i couldn't find anything via Search Posts. I'm aware of importance of no Biotin / 24 hour gap between last Thyroxine and pre 9.30am test with no food. MediCheck site says stop B12 two weeks prior to testing; nothing re D3/K2. I also take one 15mg Mirtazepine

Need faster research on Neuro-modulation
I attended 2 various zoom meets of Vibratory Neuro-modulation . In UK they have a CUE1 available at less than 500 dollars that is showing some amazing strides for some people. Then I watched a zoom with Dr Peter Tass who is a researcher involved with the amazing Vibratory Gloves. My wife was a participant

Fortified foods and blood tests
Is it necessary to avoid foods fortified with B vitamins a week before blood tests. I know supplements containing biotin must be avoided but am not sure if the same applies to fortified foods eg cereals? Thank you

Testing tomorrow - DHEA interference?
Quick question - I am meant to be having my thyroid tested tomorrow am but took some DHEA today and some kelp and wondered if this would change the results too much? Should I wait a day or two and get them done without taking these supplements? I have stayed off biotin but have also taken B's - not sure

My Current Stack (what is in yours?)
This is my latest stack. My goal over the last 18 months here is to develop a stack that somewhat made sense to me and then to stick with it and stop bouncing around. I feel like I am pretty close to being there. Of course it is all a crap shoot and a good amount of hopium. I have not been diagnosed

8 months since first post..new results and questions
8 months on from my first noobie post on the forum asking for help. I’m pretty pleased with this, feeling so much better than I did, the advice here has been life changing. Still work to do, very achy, limited capacity to do anything outside of turning up to work/home stuff but that is an improvement

Biotin, before blood tests
I have a blood test booked for 20th Feb, please can you advise how long before this should I stop taking Biotin, and are there any other "do's or dont's". Am on 75mcgs Levothyroxine daily. Thanks for any advice.
