Hi, sorry if this has been answered previously but i couldn't find anything via Search Posts.
I'm aware of importance of no Biotin / 24 hour gap between last Thyroxine and pre 9.30am test with no food. MediCheck site says stop B12 two weeks prior to testing; nothing re D3/K2. I also take one 15mg Mirtazepine nightly for insomnia/anxiety.
I've been on 100mcg Levo after dropping from 150mcg mid 2018 following Hyper episode. So cold now i virtually shake...aches and pains everywhere. GP "Well your TSH is well within range, unfortunately it's all part of getting old" (69 in April)
Many thanks

9am is the best time for a thyroid test as this is when TSH is highest (except for between midnight and about 4am, see graph below).

Stopping B12 for 2 weeks achieves very little, if anything. If you want to know how much B12 you are holding on to you stop for 4-5 months before testing. If you want to know what your supplement dose is achieving you continue up to and including the day before the test. Similarly with D3, just take last dose the day before, then you can continue supplementing after the test. The results will show you whether you need to change your dose.
