broad complex tachycardia diagnosis
hi I had ann episode of tachycardia last June ( 135 bpm). It went after 2 hours and I felt fine . However I did feel that I ought to get a check up after my holiday in September as didn’t feel quite right. ECG was normal , thyroid level raised so thyroxine dose was reduced and I felt a million

How often to increase t3
I started on 6.25 mcg of t3 and increased by 6.25 every 5-7 days. I've been on 31.25 mcg for 2 weeks now and feel exactly the same= dreadful. Shall I keep increasing or wait? I'm also taking 50 mcg of t4. I'm monitoring and taking iron, b12 and vitamin d. I was also taking selenium but stopped now.

Heart Attack at 38
Hi, I first posted on the thyroid board but was sent here to check with the knowledgeable people here. At the end of January I had a heart attack. The doctors said it was due to taking T3 for my thyroid but I’ve read a lot of conflicting information as to whether T3 would cause this or not and the

Confused about iron infusion and low ferritin.
Am I reading it wrong when Dr. Winkelmann recommends infusion if ferritin is 50 – 75 mcg/L but iron tablets if ferritin is below 50 mcg/L or lower? Gibbel

Ferritin Levels
Hello, Recent blood test shows Ferritin at 118 (30 - 650 ug/L). I'm struggling to understand if that's ok as the range appears to have changed. When it was tested in September 2023 it was 112 but the range was 15-200ug/L. Is the range change significant? My brain says it makes my level lower as

Iron related question please
I am currently trying to get my iron levels up and they are slowly creeping in the right direction. However. My latest bloods show that my TSAT is now too high at 65% (up from 39% two months ago), and ferritin at 70ug/L (up from 65ug/L.) Is this just something to monitor for now? It’’s never been
