2 questions- Does buprenorphine give you insomnia?! Also what’s the best type to ask for?
one of my biggest problems is insomnia. Is rls and insomnia one in the same? which came first the rls or the insomnia? No idea. Sometimes I wake and then the legs start, sometimes the legs wake me up. so if I was given buprenorphine would I still have the insomnia/make it worse? Because that’s as

A big thank you and a wee update!
Just wanted to say a big thank you to all that helped. I posted a couple of months ago about interpreting my bloods whilst continuing to suffer quite debilitating symptoms. I took your advice and got my private bloods done, and then saw a private endocrinologist that had prescribed T3 before. She asked

Medication in the UK
Hi, As per RLS posts I have finally got around to requesting a ferritin level check, full iron panel from my GP in the UK. I also have changed from ropinirole to pramipexole and because that change didn't work the GP has said to double the dose of pramipexole being taken, which I will do as desperate

How to dose new prescription T3 with current levo. Please can anyone advise?
Hi I'm not converting well and have been prescribed ERFA NDT by an endo, I not yet ordered and on reflection I have now asked for T3 instead (awaiting reply). I asked for T3 as don't know how much NDT I'd need and can't afford higher doses long term. I also have to have it compounded due to multiple

Bladder and vaginal issues.
Having had all the concern over bladder issues, which now seem to have passed, another matter has arisen, diagnosis of sore, itching and pain on urinating led to the prescribing of vegifem which having used twice caused some issue with bleeding. On being unable to contact GP due to weekend and bank

Get worse before better?
I have read lots of posts about reversing out, but just wanted to have a moan. I seem to have a different symptom each couple of days, and always worse than I had before diagnosis. One minute I’m completely exhausted, and the next I’ve got chronic nerve pain, then sweating following small exertions.

Rapid heart rate - help needed
Hi, looking for some advice. I am three months in to taking Liothyronine in addition to levo and all was going swimmingly until about two weeks ago. I had gradually increased T3 to 10 mcg/day, with ~ 80mcg levo. I was feeling good & results on first look test were also good. T3 had increased from 3.7

Just diagnosed. Pretty confused
I was just diagnosed last week. Wbc of 14 and alc of 8.8 - no symptoms or lymphadenopathy. My tests were just completed and everything seemed very favorable except one thing. The good was low ldh (138), low B2M (1.79), low CRP (.05mg/dl), only 13q14 deletion on FISH (everything else normal on that

Response to Joan
Joan, I don't believe I can be of much help as I have been on compounded t4/t3 therapy (extended release one pill daily) for five years. I have done well on this, but only a holistic doctor will prescribe it for me. My endocrinologist wouldn't, so in my search for relief, I chose to stay with the holistic
