Joan, I don't believe I can be of much help as I have been on compounded t4/t3 therapy (extended release one pill daily) for five years. I have done well on this, but only a holistic doctor will prescribe it for me. My endocrinologist wouldn't, so in my search for relief, I chose to stay with the holistic doctor.
