Stop taking meds.
Azathioprine, Prednisone, omeprazole, metformin,hydrochlroquin,
bactrim
, execidrin for pain, hemp for pain, abuterol pump just in case. Im just tired. I used to take them all at one time. But it was too much. Then i spread them out throughout the day. I would forget to take some.

Can taking Bactrim make you neutropenic?
My husband has been on Ibrutinib for 2 years now, and has taking
Bactrim
and Acyclovir along with it. Up until four months ago, his numbers have been in the more normal range. He feels well, and had a good CT scan in June.

Stopping Ibrutinib?
Can other meds cause neutropenia like Acyclovir or
Bactrim
?? He is 11q deleted and unmutated. Does this look like Ibrutinib is not working?

Remission, Day 4: Online Dating Question
MRD-, partial response (a single lymph node was 54% of a millimeter larger than the antiquated standard). 3 days left on acyclovir and
Bactrim
. Funny, I don't miss taking the pills. Imagine that.

Icing on the Cake
Been on
Bactrim
antibiotic for a couple of weeks which I heard could raise creatinine levels. Received antibiotics by IV and NSAID shots for pain over past week. I think it's just been too much.

Help offset Prednisone Side Effects
Is anyone who is taking Prednisone also taking
Bactrim
to prevent infection and Fosamax to help prevent bone loss? If yes, has taking those meds helped?

Best Dad Ever
His doctor has put him on
Bactrim
for 90 days, which is called Chronic Suppression Therapy. I think lowering his dose of Ibrutinib would be a good idea. I welcome all input on lowering the dosage. Thank you.

PCP Pneumonia Prophylaxis
She started me on
Bactrim
(TMP/SMX) 3 times weekly as prophylaxis. I did a quick search on this forum and didn’t see any posts about this. Is anyone else on higher dose prednisone taking this? I did look online, and it makes sense to take the antibiotic. Just curious about others’ experience.

SBRT fiducials antibiotic
When given biopsy used
Bactrim
with no issues 1x per day over 3 days per Urologist. Concerned regarding proper antibiotic. Cipro or any flouroquinolone antibiotics off table with allergy. Anyone have experience using Augmentin for biopsy or fiducial/spaceoar placement?

A pain in the groin
I've mentioned it to both my oncologist and urologist, and they seemed unimpressed, though the urologist did prescribe
Bactrim
in case it was prostatitis. Five days into the antibiotic there is no huge difference, other than more fatigue and more joint aches. Why does everything cause fatigue?
