Abdominal Hysterectomy
However there was still residual tumor seen on CT scan and I have been booked to have abdominal hysterectomy on 30th November followed by 2 more chemotherapy,
avastin
and parp inhibitors. I wanted to ask if anyone had hysterectomy and how was the recovery?

Advice please re: Niraparib (Zejula) side effects (i.e. bloating, nausea & vomitting & stomach pains?)
I was offered
Avastin
/ Bevacizumab last year, but they won't prescribe it again for recurrences on NHS. Does anyone know if there are any other drug trials / treatments available.

Greetings everyone.
(May we all gets our diseases cured by the ALMIGHTY. Ameen)
I was diagnosed that there's a Central swelling in my right eye in August,2019. I was seeing flashes and curves and blur. I went to see a doctor, he said you need injections for your eye. I was scared of getting injections

Need a bit of advice on treatments going forward.. avastin vs niraparib?
If i have
avastin
and then reoccur after 6months at the end i can have more chemo then niraparib but if i have niraparib and reoccur i can never have
avastin
but saying this it all depends on how if and when i reoccur! 🤯🤷♀️lost!! I dont even want to think this far ahead lol.

Retinal Bleed
Treated with
Avastin
3 days post incident and is due another shot in November. She had a previous bleed in 2018. However I suspect this bleed is much more extensive. I am looking for similar experiences. Can she gain her vision back in her eye?

Reflection and thanks.
Apart from an almost constant runny nose I have tolerated
Avastin
quite well, and am keeping everything crossed that it has done its job.

Have decided to have a hysterectomy but can t have it until the end of July which means I have to cope with my prolapsed uterus which if it drops to the edge of my vagina

watch and wait - how long?
There is a node that grew by .5 cm and they suggested more monitoring, continue
avastin
and if any further changes to start chemo. Anyone had a similar experience? How long were you able to stay off treatment? Any suggestions for her to do in the interm? Feels like a sitting duck

Oral Cytoxan in conjunction w Avastin infusion
My CA 125 has been kept nicely low via
Avastin
infusions every six weeks. Over the last few months I noticed a trend of it slowly creeping up, Ie, a two point increase each time. I knew that this was odd and my oncologist agreed. I have started 50 mg oral cytotoxin once a day.

HIPEC surgery and Avastin for one year any similar case?
Doctors are suggesting if possible a surgery called Hipec, wich involves hot chemo directly in the peritoneum, or
avastin
for a year My marker CA125 went down fron 744 to 22 after this las chemo.

Avastin...hmmm
I was then put on
Avastin
. I've been on
Avastin
since January 2022, so I am currently in my 9th month of taking this drug. I have had my fits & bouts with
Avastin
. Unfortunately it has really wrecked havoc with my Blood Pressure, & me Spilling Protein in my Urine.

Scanxiety Series 3 Episode I (?)
He’s easy to talk to but I can’t help thinking about the time back in 2015 when I had to explain to him what
Avastin
was! The hospital delayed my lung drain and chemo during the pandemic to the point where I was so ill I nearly didn’t make it. Urrrrgh! Do you have any words of encouragement?

Hello everyone, I've been on
Avastin
+ Tecentriq infusions since 2/21 & doctors say the infusions are working. I have had all the side effects listed & take meds for HBP & high collesterol. However, I suffer fatigue everyday & lack of motivation to go out of the house.

Infusions and side effects
Is there anyone who has undergone the
Avastin
(immunology) infusions, who stopped them because of the side effects, but not at the instigation of the oncologists. It was their own decision. Did they experience serious consequences from interrupting the infusions?

Stable disease
Today the consultant said her ct shows no improvement and ca125 has dropped only slightly, but no worsening of disease and has adopted a wait and see approach, she has ruled out parp but will put her on
avastin
and taxol once disease progresses.

Should I reduce dose of Olaparib?
Because I am HRD I am being given
Avastin
3 weekly and Olaparib 300 mg twice daily. Unfortunately I am struggling with side effects. I get tired very easily. I have a very poor appetite and struggle to maintain my weight of 62kg.
