Feel I am quietly being written off - please help
When and how do you persuade someone to give you
Avastin
? Am I stuck at my local hospital? Sorry to sound so pathetic I know that I am not the only one having to make this journey Thank you. Sarah

Have read what I can and am leaning towards
Avastin

HAS ANYONE EXPERIENCED NOSE BLEEDS WHILST ON CISPLATIN OR ANY OTHER CHEMO?
I didn't initially take any notice, as nasal problems are a side effect of
Avastin
and I have been suffering with these for a couple of years. But after web checking the side effects of Cisplatin, I realised nose bleeds was a side effect.

BBFC update.
You must all now have heard that
Avastin
is to be widely available for OC. Very excellent news and I hope many of you will be able to have it. It's going to be interesting to compare stories and results.

B B F C otherwise known as Bloody Bollocks to ####### Cancer.
I will be back on Carboplatin in a couple of weeks and my Onc is applying for
Avastin
which he seems confident of getting. I pleaded with him to tell me I will survive long enough to see my elder daughter married in 2013, but he side-stepped that question, as I knew he would.

Impact of OC on lungs / AVASTIN / Dealing with pain
2-
AVASTIN
: the oncologist in France stopped giving
AVASTIN
after the first week of chemo on the basis that maybe it was too aggressive for my mother's tumours and might generate an hemorrage - has anyone been given that information ?

Length (time) between first and second line?
Just posing a little q... following on from the thread about
Avastin
, apparently the studies have shown that it can result in an average on 5 months more time between end of first line and first recurrence.

Aspirin and Cancer Spread.
Between $100,000
avastin
(yes, was offered to me) and $10 aspirin, I definitely choose the latter, not because it is cheaper, but because it is far better. Disclaimer: am merely here to share my experience (survival), to voice my personal opinion. No advice of any kind meant.

BACK ON MY BELOVED AVASTIN
So fingers crossed and onwards and upwards and I hope
Avastin
comes through for me again. I am however struggling with the Insurance Company to get the port fitted, I have to have one.
