Hit another hurdle! Need some support from you lovely ladies!
It's turns out that i have 3 lymph nodes in my diaphragm next to my heart and she mentioned
avastin
bit thinks we should go with just chemo 1st as
avastin
slows recovery during chemo. And hopefully get full debunking but not sure when! Any of you had thus knock back last minute?

Treatment Options at 2nd recurrence.
In addition, there's also the question of sequencing, with one oncologist strongly recommending going with the standard of care they know works, ie
avastin
+ paclitaxel, and seeing where I am with the trial after the treatment in option 1.

Does Avastin cause a drop in ca125?
Hello All, I'm on
Avastin
as a maintenance treatment, and my ca125 is dropping a point or two with each blood test even though the main chemotherapy ended nearly 4 months ago. Has anyone else experienced this good effect?

Surgery if now Platinum resistant?
I had Paclitaxel/Carbo for first-line, with
Avastin
. (14 month remission) I had Carbo/ Caelyx for second-line (had clear CT scan), followed by Olaprib (not successful). I'm currently looking at options. Best wishes to you all Lisa

Need advice re: Stomach pains and Acid Reflux after eating?
I had chemotherapy and de-bulking surgery 18 months ago and then took
Avastin
(Bevacizumab) for 1 year maintenance afterwards and my CA125 levels came down to normal for 1 year.

Olaparib dose reduction
I've been on Olaparib and
Avastin
for 2 weeks following frontline chemo for OC and already I've been told to stop because my white blood cells are way too low. I was on 600mg Olaparib and the nurse said to have a break and then if bloods improve to start again on a lower dose.

Olaparib and Avastin
Hi All, I wondered if anyone is taking Oliparib, 600mg a day and also having 3 weekly infusions of
Avastin
? I started on the
Avastin
on the 2nd cycle of 6 cycles of carboplatin and paclitaxol. Having finished that regime I have now started on the maintenance treatment.

Well, I’ve had one year now with chemo and I’m on maintenance of
Avastin
and Olaparib. Should I have insisted on surgery? Does anyone without surgery survive for any length of time? I would be very grateful to hear from you lovely ladies. X

What else is available?
I have done Carbo/Taxol,
Avastin
, Carbo/Caelyx, Rubrac a and now Anastrazole. I have a scan coming up, but lately can feel the cancer spreading and am resorting to pain killers.

Glioblastoma Recurrence
One of the options for treatment we have been asked to consider is Lomustine chemo in conjunction with
Avastin
.
Avastin
side effects for someone in my wife's age range look pretty horrendous.

Rising CA-125 after first cycle
She has only had her first cycle of taxol + biweekly
avastin
and her CA-125 has risen from 25 to 31.5. She had her port fitted 2 days back. Could that be causing the CA-125 to rise?
