We would like to wait longer as we think it would not be beneficial to start chemo as she has been on
avastin
which seems to be holding it off from growing aggressively. Has anyone been in a similar spot?

anyone on a uk trial for 2nd line relapse maintenance?
My oncologist states that I cannot have
Avastin
(asked after reading on posts here). as only for 1st line maintenance. I had nothing offered when I was first treated or now. I will be going on Olaparib but looking for any trial or study that might be of benefit.

Hi,I have been using Ovestin 1mg for 18 months. I am 64 and went through the menopause 10 years ago. My GP is quite happy to keep issuing repeat prescriptions but I am wondering if it is safe to keep using indefinitely. I have not suffered any side effects so far and have not found anything on the

Seeking advice from Lynparza, Rubraca or Zejula patients.
Following surgery and chemo treatments, I was scheduled to begin the combo
Avastin
/Lynparza as the chosen maintenance treatment plan for me, but a bad Crohn's flare up resulted in an emergency bowel resection preceding a lengthy recovery.

avastin costs
hi, is anybody having
avastin
(bevacizamab) and paying privately for it. I responded well to it on first diagnosis 6 years ago. Unfortunately I am not eligible on the nhs . Can anybody tell me more about the costs as they seem to vary so much.

Maintainence Drugs Avastin & Olaparib
So I will be moving into maintenance treatment with the combination of
Avastin
and Olaparib which needs to be approved by NHS first. I am a BRCA 2 positive so hoping to get the approval. I wanted to ask when you had the combination treatment, how did you feel during the treatment?

What to do?
I know that continuing with chemo is a personal thing, and that it has to be my decision, but I have no one else, who understands, to discuss this with.I had my first chemo, Carbo/Taxel in 2016,, and since then have had
Avastin
, Carbo/Caelyx, Rucaparib and weekly Taxel, which I finished just before Christmas

How long off Olaporib before starting Carbo/Caelyx for a recurrence?
I have just got off the phone to my oncologist who, after having put me on 8 weekly scans for a recurrence for a few months now, has said its time to come off my
Avastin
/Olaporib combination of maintenance and onto Carbo/Caelyx. Not great to hear, but I've known its coming sometime.
